I guess if plays rule was still enforced, where once you sign on you get your full 30 minutes no matter where the clock was at before then it would be fine.
I'm just worried im gonna walk away for 30 mins 5 spots from my pick with 3 names in my head. Then when I come back they are all gone and I have 3 minutes to find a name.

Then specify it in your list. I almost always say text me before you use my list in the list I pm.

Ok so if I specify in my list would that make my time limit go back to two hours? So essentially specify in my list to not abide by this new rule? So much grey area John!

Not to be rude Hype but your opinion on this doesnt mean a whole hell of alot. I like you as a person. Youre a good GM but you are horrible at being ready for the draft.

Then specify it in your list. I almost always say text me before you use my list in the list I pm. Pretty much. The point is you should be responsible for your pick if it's within a certain distance. Way too often does a guy have a pick within 5 slots, sign on, and sign off without dong anything never to be heard from again. Wasting two hours because someone was too lazy to send a list is terrible. What you're arguing is irrelevant Hype. If you want to deal the pick, you sign on, and you have thirty minutes to do so once it's your pick. That's no different than it is now. Either way, you can leave instructions, but the point is you shouldn't get two hours to do something because you signed off five minutes before a pick.

meh, not a big fan. Yea, it gets shit done faster, but shit gets done at a good speed as it is. Asking for lists many picks in advance sucks especially when you're trying to deal. People get time limits for a reason, keep it that way.

People get time limits for a reason, keep it that way. WTF is this "what if i'm trying to trade?!?" stuff? Honestly, if you're trying to deal the pick, it's pretty simple: Be on the boards before and/or during your pick. This doesn't change that, at all.

Voting against this is essentially saying
"Hey everyone, I'm too lazy to make a five person list sometimes and feel like slowing down the whole process because of it. Sorry, but not really."

They get a 2 hour time limit, 30 mins. when they log on. As soon as someone is on the clock and offline, you guys go straight to the list. If i want to come on while i'm on the clock and negotiate deals knowing the draftees available i should be allowed that opportunity.

but since it looks like it's passing, i'll just lurk the boards offline as soon as draft starts to prevent this shortened time frame.
