It's kind of hard to brick your phone from what I understand. Ya. All the warnings and shit are there because it IS possible but it seems to me that the only way to brick is having your phone die while you're going through the initial process of rooting. Phone dying before custom recovery is set = No custom recovery = no way to bring your phone back to life. Once you have that custom recovery your phone is damn near invincible. I've flashed roms and kernels that threw me into endless bootloops due to my phone not being able to handle the undervolting/overclocking properties that these roms/kernels contained and with a quick battery pull and reboot into recovery (holding volume down and power on my phone) I was easily able to fix the problem (by using a new rom or flashing a safer (no pre -UV/OC) kernel Even if something goes wrong with custom recovery, it's still hard to brick your phone. Pretty much any "bricking" with these phones isn't a true brick. Still waiting for a stable/clean version of ICS on my fascinate  |

Good point. Either way I wouldn't chance flashing on a low batt. Its a warning that many devs post in their rooting threads so I figure they know best

Anyone running emulators on android?
Just wondering what are some of the best/coolest ones. This game boy color one I got is bomb, playing pokemon silver/metal gear solid on it brings back a lot of memories.

Tried a N64 emulator but my infuse couldn't handle it, probably works on the galaxy s2 though.

had gameboid, snesoid and the n64oid. All worked great. stopped fucking with them a while ago but I might put them back on. Diddy Kong Racing is addicting

I need a new netbook... Anyone recently purchase one?
Looking at the ASUS line of netbooks mostly. I like the asus eeePC 1225B but it seems unavailable in the US at the moment even tho every where I look it says it has been released.
Any recommendations?
