I need a new netbook... Anyone recently purchase one? Looking at the ASUS line of netbooks mostly. I like the asus eeePC 1225B but it seems unavailable in the US at the moment even tho every where I look it says it has been released. Any recommendations? Apparently release date was pushed back to March... Annoying that it isnt noted anywhere as to when in March on any website.

I recently purchased an Asus Zenbook ux31. Its pricey but it beats everything in the current market for the ultra/net book categories. It is the biggest competitor to the macbook air and it beats that in components, performance, & price.

DBW seems like the guy to talk to for Droids. Rooting is a simple process, google it/watch a youtube video. Opens up your phone for full access and not bound by what the wireless provider will allow.

I'm pretty much lost on this. I'm eligible for an upgrade on my Verizon contract already but i'm not sure what to get. Of course the Iphone 4s caught my attention just cause it seems like everyone has it, plus it's not huge like some of these other smart phones are. I don't know if i should get an iphone or an android and if i get an android, which one would be the best?
This is going to be my first smart phone so i'm pretty much a noob, suggestions?

I have the samsung infuse, it's basically a cheap / glitchy version of the samsung galaxy s2. I mean, android allows 3rd party apps and shit, I love the fact that I can play sega genesis / gameboy color / n64 games on my phone, although I know there's a lot more to a decision than just games. I just prefer android, although I was all over the iphone's cock until I switched.

If you can wait.. I'd say check out every phone OS before making a decision. Try them in person and also search Youtube for videos. You might like iOS or WP7 or Blackberry more than Android. Not sure what Windows phones Verizon has but if you do go Android I'd suggest the Galaxy Nexus or Droid Razr Maxx. The Nexus is probably the best phone out as far as UI. Nothing touches stock Ice Cream Sandwich imo and Google makes sure to keep their phones nice and updated for years. The Razr Maxx lasts forever apparently. That kind of battery life is ideal if you think you'll be using your phone heavily.

if you are more of a texter/e-mailer/social media person and couldn't care less about games and shit then Blackberry is practical. I don't like it but I won't tell someone not to check it out because maybe they'll like it
As far as I know the only carriers getting a One phone are T-Mobile and ATT. And Sprint is getting that new Evo which is basically the same thing. I could be wrong there
SGSIII event is early May so maybe you can wait until then and see if it's dropping on Verizon. That is supposed to be the phone of all phones but the Nexus was called the same thing and the SGSII before that and so on and so forth.
Basically... there will always be a phone better than yours coming around the corner. That's how the phone market is right now.
