Aaron Craft
Height: 6'2
Weight: 195lbs
College: The Ohio State University
Position: PG/SG
Ratings: C B- C+ B C- B
Pros: Craft is a fantastic ball handler. He is the type of player that hardly turns the ball over. Craft is also one of the quickest players in terms of reactions in college basketball. He has the innate ability to force turnovers and cause his opponents to make mistakes. Craft is also a plus rebounder for a player his size. He is a good midrange player and one of the best FT shooters in the country. He can shoot the from long-range, but he would much rather shoot from fifteen feet.
Cons: Offense is not really Craft's strong point. He hardly makes mistakes, but he also rarely takes chances. He's not much for attacking the hoop. He is also prone to defensive break-downs. This often happens as he will take chances for steals. The biggest question for Craft is his ability to create on the offensive end. He's not the type of guy who will create shots for other players. He's just not really a great passer.
Overall: At worst Craft is an above average backup. His ability to limit TO's and get steals will give him a place on just about any team. The real queston is his passing. I think that he could end up a bit like Anthony Peeler. Probably a PG who will never get good assists, but his percentages, steals, and lack of turnovers completely make up for it. I think a team would be smart to take him towards the end of the lotto.
