Strengths: Out of this world athlete. Drummond is downright scary running through the lane on a fast-break. He is a defensive presence with his long arms and athletic ability. For a guy his ize Drummond plays the passing lanes very well. He also uses his body very well, capable of sealing opponents in the post and on the defensive boards.
Weaknesses: His offensive game is very raw. He's benefited from playing against smaller, weaker competition. Ball control is a bit of a concern, he tends to panic if he gets stuck in a double team, or tries to force the issue if the offense is stagnant. Lacks motivation on the offensive end in general, especially when it comes to rebounding, which is unfortunate since he could be a real force if he wanted to.
Outlook: Drummond is loaded with potential. Scouts have been taking notes on his development since he was a freshman in high school. He's the next in line of high school hyped players, so he has a lot to live up to. He comes into the league with a lot of potential but a game based on athleticism, so he'll need some work to become a true impact player, but all the tools are there.
