Vander Blue Shooting Guard 6'3'' 200 lbs. Marquette Rookie Ratings:B C- D+ B C A Strengths:- Exceptional Athleticism - Proved to be capable of being a defensive stopper at the college level. - Has great ability to finish in traffic in the paint on the drive. - It looks like he has a lot of room to grow and develop. Weaknesses: - His size is disturbing considering he's only 6'3'' and is a long ways away from being a Point Guard, so he's more like an undersized shooting guard at this point. - Needs to improve his ball handling as it is sorely lacking. - His perimeter game is pretty bad at this point. - Not a great scorer, seems more like a defensive specialist. Outlook:It's hard to judge him at this point, he seems very raw and is far from polished. He needs to improve his perimeter game and ball handling which are the two most important categories for a shooting guard/point guard. Fortunately, the perimeter game can be developed the easiest out of all the categories and his athleticism can't. At the very least, he should be a great defensive player throughout his career so he probably wouldn't be a bad pickup late in the lotto or in the mid-first. Potential Ratings:B+ C+ C- A- C

Might be a solid SG. Probably more of a backup though.
