Jazz Trade: Maurice Cheeks VET FA Jazz 98 1st Jazz 99 1st
Mavs Trade: Dell Curry
Jazz Accept.
We needed to do something, and I really like what Curry brings to the table. Gives us a lot more versatility and depth. Of course it's risky not having any picks until 2000, but I have the pieces to get some back if I need to.

Mavs agree, Curry played great for us last yr but I am still doing the youth thing and he's 28 now.
Thx and GL to the Jazz. They got him at a bargain I think, he's pretty good.

I wasn't able to make a blockbuster move this offseason, so I'm just adding what we need, which is scoring, and an outside threat. I'm not sure where he'll play, or if he'll come off the bench. Might go small and run Hornacek-Curry-Jordan-Rodman-Duck w/ Buck at 3/4/5 or run Hornacek-Jordan-Rod-Buck-Duck with Curry at 1/2/maybe 3.
Or might even start Curry at PG, he seems like he'd be solid there.
