Rodney Rogers 22 6-7 235 SF Wake Forest Rookie Ratings:[/u] B B- D+ C C C Strengths:[/u] Rogers can flat out score. He's got a strong post game and just puts the ball in the hoop. He dominated at Wake Forest, and is looking to continue this offensive dominance in the pros. A very efficient scorer, Rogers was a 58% FG shooter at Wake, and will look to keep his success at that level in BBS. In addition to being a good post player, Rogers also has a solid mid-range game. He's got a nice jumper and can score consistently from 15-20 feet. He's got a decent 3 pt shot as well. Not much to say about his game aside from his scoring. Weaknesses:[/u] Mediocre defender, will probably relegate him to being a back-up. He's a tweener and he simply can't hang with the bigger stronger guys or with the smaller quicker guys. He may get scored on as much as he scores, which hurts his value. Additionally, he's a terrible passer and at times is considered selfish because he always looks to score on his own first. Not a good rebounder, average for a player of his stature. As previously mentioned, a classic tweener. His perceived lack of upside also is not sitting well with scouts and GM's. Overview:[/u] Most likely a late-teens pick who'll likely be best suited as a 6th man who can provide a nice scoring punch off the bench.

Pretty nice 6th man. Could probably even start on a good team.

I think he could go late lotto. His offense will be pretty rare.

I dont remember him being that good honestly. Maybe I did'nt see him enuff. He was a good scorer. Maybe not this good compared to the league ratings, but I wanted him to be flawed and go lotto. I think I accomplished that. Could start for a number of teams and maybe score 20 as a rookie? Not out of the question. To me, what more could you ask for from a late lotto pick?
