Quinn Cook Point Guard 6'1" 180 lbs. Duke Rookie Ratings:C C B+ B+ D+ A Strengths:-Excellent speed and quickness with the ball. -Very good at running the offense. -Great floor general skills. -Has excellent court vision with seeing the open man and making the accurate and safe pass. -Can frustrate other point guards with his great defensive pressure. Weaknesses:-Not much of a scorer. -Can hit down the open jumper, but isn't a shoot first type of player. -Can penetrate and go to the rim some, but much prefers to make the open pass. -Had a turnover problem in high school, which he worked on at Duke. Overall:-Cook looks to be a typical pass-first point guard. He has the skills to probably be a 10 apg type of player but he isn't going to back it up with 20 points or so right off the bat. His lack of scoring will definitely hurt his draft stock. However if a team is looking for a good floor general who can lead a team and play tough defense, then Cook is your man.
