I realllllllllllllllly prefer draft notes and player profiles (you could assign those to guys like you used to.) Thought they were a lot more interesting.

If we start in 09 we will do fake players eventually.
Something I might consider is letting people do player profiles even in retro. So lets say its the 81 draft. Id get 5 people to volunteer each year. 3 profiles each. Id say Aaron give me a profile on Isiah Thomas, Tom Chambers and Rolando Blackman. Youd be responsible for the ratings and the profile. Id give real potential.

Was about to post this in the RC thread, but thought I'd post it here as it's relevant. So no RCS for wins, division titles, conference titles, etc? In my opinion, yeah I'd scrap them. But that's just me. I do think that Champs should get some sort of reward though, whatever that may be. So if it's RCs, or extra hard cap flexibility, or whatever, I think that'd be good. Maybe say rewards for the two conference champs, with the overall champ with a better reward than the other? I dunno, just thinking out loud. |

Didn't we do it for real players at the beginning too? Did we? I think I did ratings and asked GMs to post. Yeah that's what I meant. You PM'd details to GMs and then they went and got pics, profile info etc and posted them. |

Awesome, it was a lot of fun with fake players. I like the idea of starting in 85. Hopefully the GM created players of retro players will be good for everyone. Thats what Id prefer. 85 is by far the best option, IMO. Close to 90, doesn't promote tanking because all the studs are already in BBS, etc. I went 80 because you said you wanted more years to sim and preferred 75, but I'm big on 85. |

I really hope we start in 09 so we can get to create our own players soon.
I think it will be more active in the beginning if we start in the present too. People will be more interested
