Strengths
Jenkins is an excellent shooter who is beginning to occasionally show flashes of an inside game. Though not particularly quick, he's able to easily create shots for himself with a variety of hesitation moves and up fakes. Also possesses a strong two dribble game. He's a 90% FT shooter and an elite mid-range shooter. Has legitimate pro 3pt range as well. Solid ball-handler; not particularly turnover-prone. Defensively, what he lacks in eye-popping athleticism, he makes up for with a solid defensive IQ. Not a great ball stealer, he'll get a block here and there, but can be counted on to play solid positional defense on a nightly basis.
Weaknesses
Needs to develop more consistency, very often falls into serious shooting slumps. More troubling, is his inability to create shots for anybody but himself. His passing ability is underdeveloped...fairly non-existent, really. It's not a good thing. Even worse, is his rebounding. It's bad for his size, for his position, it'd probably be bad at the YMCA over-40 league. Also not a good thing.
Outlook
Jenkins is an extremely intelligent, hard-working kid. He's fast on his way to becoming a deadly shooter, and he may very well end up being a lockdown positional defender, but he's not without flaws. He's not versatile enough to make an impact in most offenses, though he could excel in just the right system. His well below average passing ability and horrific rebounding might hurt his potential to start in BBS, but worst-case scenario, he's an elite mid-range shooter off the bench who can defend his position.
