Jeffrey Taylor SF 6'7" 224 lbs. 5/23/89 Vanderbilt
B- C C- B+ C A
Strengths:-Excellent Perimeter defender -Smart defensive player -Great length and size allow for a large number of steals -Has the size to get to the basket if he wants -Decent jumper -Great athlete -Potential? Weaknesses:-Can be very passive if he isn't the "man" -Jumper is very inconsistent -Teams force him to shoot -No 3-point range...in college or the pros -Fairly new to high levels of competition -Perimeter skills, ball handling, and passing are all below average. -Potential? Overall:Taylor looks to be exactly what his ratings show. He is a defense first oriented player. He has the ability to be a great perimeter defender who can steal the ball. That is about where his talents end. He is horrible from outside the 3-point line and his jumper isn't that solid. While he can drive to the basket and play inside some, his talent there doesn't have "blow away" potential. It's all going to come down to his potential on whether or not he will be a one-trick pony or a multi-talented player.
