Pros:
Burks is an intriguing shooting guard prospect with great size and athleticism. He is an explosive leaper with excellent finishing ability. He is a very good scorer, and can score in many different ways. Loves to attack the rim. Defensively, he is very quick, and is one of the best prospects in the passing lanes. Shows a lot of potential.
Cons:
Burks is very inexperienced. This may hurt him at the next level. He needs to bulk up. He has no upper body strength at all, and will get pushed around by solid scorers like Rashad McCants and Kobe Bryant. He needs to improve his passing game, as he is very mediocre for a shooting guard. Also is a terrible rebounder, and doesn't look like he'll improve much.
Overall:
Burks is going to be a solid scorer at the next level. The question will be if he can build his defense up to become a dominant player on both sides of the ball. If he does, he will be the right choice. If not, he will be a bust, although scorers are valued here in the BBS.
