Strengths
Teague is an aggressive offensive player with a slasher's mentality. He's explosive, with a great first step and sick hops. He's dangerous in the paint, draws a lot of fouls and is a very good FT shooter. A good shooter off the dribble and has few problems creating shots for himself. Nice mid-range game and can hit the three ball. Has improving court vision and passing ability. Good ball stealer who can get up and get the occasional block.
Weaknesses
His lack of strength and bulk will hamper his inside game as a pro. Needs to work on shot selection and become a much better outside shooter if he hopes to be effective at the next level. Plays way too fast for his ball handling ability and is a real turnover risk as a result. The only real hustle he shows on the defensive end is when he's gambling for a steal. Shows no effort on the offensive glass at all.
Outlook
Isn't/probably never will be a true PG. Takes too many shots and doesn't have the desire to create for others. Looks like a solid defender on college highlight reels, but he'll have a more difficult time grabbing steals and getting swats against pro competition. Questionable upside. What really scares scouts are his maturity, discipline and mental toughness levels. Buyer beware.
