Strengths
Solid strength for someone with his build. Able to use his size and quickness to stay competitive at the rim, and has developed a decent array of inside moves. He has great form on his jumper and can hit from pro 3pt range. Motiejunas has decent lower body strength and can look explosive at times. Not a bad offensive rebounder.
Weaknesses
His offense is solid but not BBS ready by any means. He will get pushed around by stronger fours and doesn't have the passing or ball handling ability to play small forward either, though he could probably defend the position better. As I said, his strength for his build is solid, but unfortunately, his build is thin as fuck. Also doesn't have great length, his short, thin arms look less than menacing. Gets muscled out of position frequently on the defensive glass. Ends up on the floor so much that scouts wonder if he's a flopper, or if he just has really poor balance.
Outlook
Like every other good shooting finesse seven footer to come out of Europe in the past decade, he draws comparison to Dirk Nowitzki from scouts, but Motiejunas is nowhere near as established as Dirk was by his age. Is athletic and talented enough to dominate at his competition level, but doesn't. He definitely needs to put some more bulk on his frame and maybe learn how to play defense. Seems to have quite a bit of potential, but is still a few years away from being a contributor.
