Pro's: At 20 years old, Greg Monroe is not your prototypical big man. While the center has a solid post game and has some tools that many bigs desire, his main strength comes from his ability to pass the ball. Monroe is a great passer out f the post and can do just about everything on the floor. Think Vlade Divac. Monroe has a decent post game, solid mid range jumper, and can rebound and block shots at a decent rate.
Con's: For all his talents, Monroe is more of a jack of all trades type player than a true star. He doesn't have ridiculous athletic ability, nor does he have a take-over mentality. He needs to develop a more consistent offensive game and is by no means a dominant defender either. It remains to be seen whether he can be a star at the next level.
Overall: Monroe should be a mid-lotto pick. Probably a 4th starter on the next level.
