Strengths
Lopez has great length, is a good athlete for a man his size and runs the floor quite well. Has an uncanny combination of toughness and finesse--catching the ball down low and attacking the rim without hesitation, or using his soft-touch jump hook to his advantage. He's also a good FT shooter with range out to about 18 feet. Good shot blocker and has the strength to hold his own in the post. He's shown some passing ability as well.
Weaknesses
He's not a good rebounder for a guy with his size and skills. Can be turnover prone at times as well. Can sometimes be over aggressive on defense and find himself in foul trouble early.
Outlook
If he lives up to his potential, Lopez should be an All Star caliber player. Depending on what team drafts him, he could be a career starter and a nice 2nd option on offense.
