Wow at all the hate.
No posting? I have over 6000 posts with only 10 other members of this message board having more posts than me.
Not participating in FA or in drafts? I have had no drafts picks for a while now and am close to hard cap... I'm not going to get involved there.
Trade block? When nobody wants anyone bar Duncan, there's no point putting up a block. Any offers I have gotten for any other player has been poor so there's no point me trading for the sake of trading and putting my team in a worse spot. We're 2nd in the East right now.
Duncan wasting his career? He's won a ring here and again, there's no point me trading him just for the sake of trading. People trade superstars like their teams are revolving doors sometimes, and it's just trigger happy trading for the sake of it. No NBA franchises build teams like that. It's silly.
Regardless though, if you guys think I'm not active enough I'll step it up where I can.

Yeah but the overall picture I get is that not trading Duncan = bad GM yet people say I'm not a bad GM, and that I don't post or deserve a spot in BBS? That's bullshit reasoning.
Like I said, only ten people here (including Spence) have more posts than me. I'm not inactive at all, just not crazy active these days a I used to be. Doesn't mean I don't deserve a spot here though, that's OTT.

I mean, if you prefer to keep Duncan for the rest of his career and don't mind having pretty much the same team then hey, that's your business.

I'm just saying, don't take it personal. Fair or unfair, people expect a ton of activity and trading by the GM's here. |
