Malik Sealy 22 6-8 190 SG St. John's Rookie Ratings:[/u] C+ C+ C B- C B Strengths:[/u] Sealy showed off a very impressive offensive game for the Red Storm during his college career and comes into the pros with good prospects of becoming a quality player. He's got at solid jump shot and is able to penetrate into the lane and score. Sealy is a great athlete as well; he's got good quickness and has a solid vertical leap. Sealy is an above average defender, he's especially solid at stealing the ball away from defenders. Solid rebounder for a SG. Weaknesses:[/u] Sealy's offensive game is solid, but he needs to refine it a lot if he wants to start. He needs to become more consistent and improve his efficiency from the field. He also needs to work on his perimeter game. Sealy is not a very good passer either, and that needs work. He also needs to add a little weight to his frame, he's very lanky. Overview:[/u] A probable mid-1st round selection who is probably best suited as a backup SG/SF who provides solid scoring and defense off the bench.
