Mike Conley 6'1 180 lbs Point Guard C B- B- C+ D+ B Pros: Physically, Conley is quite the specimen, blessed with an explosive first step, great lateral quickness and a nice vertical. He can penetrate past most point guards whenever he chooses to. His ball-handling is decent, and he takes care of the ball fairly well. Running an offense and distributing the ball are what Conley excels at, he is the consummate floor general. Cons: Though he can penetrate into the heart of the defense, Conley will rarely finish at the rim or even in the paint, opting instead to kick out. Unfortunately, Conley was not blessed with outstanding court vision, his passes are utilitarian in nature and he won't make the risky passes towards the hoop that could pay dividends for his teammates. He will often pass up the three point shot in favor of taking a step or two in for a midrange jumper, which allows help to close in on him and bother his shot. Conley is also a really bad rebounder. Overall: As he is, you're looking at an okay point guard off the bench. Scouts aren't exactly convinced that Conley will be getting much better, he could be a good value pick in the twenties or early 1st round, but that's about it. Projected: C+ B B B- D+ C
