Nene PF 23 6'11'' 269 B C- C- B A C
The bucks, as of day 55, have the best record in the Eastern Conference and Nene is one of the main reasons why. At only 23 years old, Nene is one of the league's best rebounding bigs in the league while also averaging a more than respectable 15.4 points per game. Although his FG % is low for his career, his FT% is very good for a big at a career high this season of 74.4%. Coming out of rookie deal, the double double machine, should be a candidate for a max contract from the bucks as well as many other teams.
Carlos Boozer C 23 6'9'' 267 B+ C D C+ A- C
After a great '04 season where he averaged 26 and 12, Boozer seems to regressed this season posting nothing more than an ordinary stat-line of 18 and 10. He provides no post defense or blocks to the Magic lineup, so he must go back to dominating the boards and scoring at will for the second half of the season. At only 23, he's contract should be intriguing as many teams will debate on whether or not to give him a full max.
Kevin Garnett SF 29 6'11'' 238 B+ C B A+ A D
The Magic's and BBS' MVP himself, KG, will be deciding whether or not to hit free agency this off-season. The man is a defensive beast averaging 2.7 steals and 2.5 blocks. After getting off to a slow start offensively, KG seems to be getting back in to groove raising his PPG average to 18.3 and should be over 20 a game by the end of the season without a doubt. If his defensive and offensive game isn't enough, he is also the league's 3rd best rebounder. He should be the most coveted possible free agent this off-season.
Dwyane Wade SG 23 6'5'' 216 A- B B A- C B
After leaving the Nuggets, Dwade has really become one of the best young players in the league today. He is already a big time scorer averaging 27 points per game and has also become a defensive stud with 2.6 steals and holding down his opponents on a nightly basis. If that wasn't enough, he has great court vision and is versatile enough to play the 1 2 or 3 at a high level. As the future of the franchise, the Raptors hope this young stud doesn't even test free agency this off-season.
Marcus Camby PF 30 6'11'' 244 B- C- D- A B D
Another defensive stud could hit free agency this off-season. Camby is one of the best defensive bigs the league has to offer and his offensive game has improved every year he has been in the league. The double-double machine is averaging 11.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks this season while adding 14.6 points per night. This is the veteran teams looking to contend for the title dream off. After a controversial trade with the Bobcats, the Hawks will have to max him in order to keep him because these bigs are extremely valuable in the league.
Ray Allen PG 30 6'5'' 220 C+ A+ C+ B+ D+ C
At 30 years old Ray Allen could hit free agency and make a lot of money. The league's best spot up shooter will undoubtedly get maxed if he reaches FA and he has been known to leave his teams without having to think twice about it. His percentages as a shooting guard are nothing less than remarkable posting a stat line of, 5.4% from the field, 91% from the line and 46% from downtown. This prolific scorer also contributes on the defensive side of the ball as a good on the ball defender. The knicks seem to be stuck in a funk thus far this season and are under 500 since adding him to the roster... Knowing skillz, Ray could be very well be on the move.
Ben Wallace C 31 6'9'' 243 C+ D C A+ B+ C
This free agency could very well be packed with defensive studs and Ben is the best shotblocker the league has to offer. Wallace leads the league averaging an incredible 4.6 blocks per game. He doesn't contribute on the offensive side of the ball at all, but his defense sure makes up for it. He is also not the best rebounding big this FA class has to offer, but his defense sure makes up for it lol. Ben is also one of the oldest defensive studs in the class which makes his contract a lot more intriguing although someone without a doubt will max him.
Steve Nash PG 31 6'3'' 213 C A A C C- B
Point guard is arguably the most important position in BBS and Nash is one of the best pure point guards in the league. His offensive game consists on midrange and outside shots and he does it very well averaging more than 23 points per game. His assist to turnover ratio is second to none putting up 9.1 assists per game and only 1.6 turnovers. Nash's defense is well... awful and being 32 next season his contract is something i'll be keeping an eye on.
