Laphonso Ellis B C C- B- C+ B 6'8" 240 lbs Forward Strengths: He's bulky enough to guard most 4's in the league. Has a decent set of post moves supplemented by a consistent mid range set shot. Ball handling is passable, so he is able to take his man off the dribble when facing up in the high post area. Has the potential to be a really nice offensive weapon Weaknesses: Jay Bilas hates Ellis because he's not long enough. A little too short to play inside though. Not that great of a rebounder, doesn't appear to have the physical tools nor the desire to get after loose balls. Positional post defense is above average, but he will never be a shot blocker. Too slow to play on the wing. Projected prime ratings: B+ C C B B- B
