Pros: Livingston is such a young player that the obvious thing is his room to develop. He can handle the ball very well for a young player and also has very good court vision. His height (6'7) will give him an obvious advantage over other PG's. He is also a very good inside scorer and is able to finish very well around the rim. Livingston is also an above average rebounder for a PG and could be a triple-double threat in his prime.
Cons: The biggest negative on Livingston is that he's just an overall question mark. No one really knows how much potential he has. He also is a poor shooter, and is almost hopeless when it comes to shoot 3-pointers.
Overall: Livingston could be a crazy steal in the 13-17 range. If he's taken any earlier than that a team is taking a huge risk. He won't help anyone in the next season or two, but could develop into a fantastic player towards the tail end of his rookie contract. If his potential is high he could be a very good starter. The key for him will be developing his outside shot. I can see him going late lotto or maybe a little later.
