Smith's a very good athlete with tremendous leaping ability, but his BBS future will rely on his shooting ability. That's how he'll make his money. He's a very good 3 pt shooter when he's on his game, and if he can improve, he should be a good role player for some team. Smith's an exuberant, exciting young player who can light up the scoreboard and really energize a team. Type of guy every team could use off the bench.
Weaknesses:[/u]
Though he can jump, he's an awful finisher in the post. Just dunks, has no skill moves in the post. He's a terrible ball handler, and likely always will be. A mediocre defender as well, Smith shows very little interest in playing defense and when he does, he gets beat. A lot. Furthermore, it's a bit disconcerting that for such a good athlete, he's so bad on the boards. Barely gets rebounds. Scouts worry about his attitude, as there are rumors of drug use.
