Tony Allen SG 6'4 213 lbs B- C C B C+ B Pros: He's a BBS ready player, set to jump into a rotation and contribute right away. Given his long arms, explosive quickness, and eye-popping hops, it makes sense that Allen would be one of the premiere slashing guards coming out of college. Not only is he a good finisher, he also brings solid perimeter defense and a responsible mindset when it comes to cleaning the glass. Weighing in at over 210 lbs, he'll be able to push some guards around and get physical on defense without sacrificing anything else. Cons: Well, for starters, his jump shot is almost as ugly as Chris Kaman. His check can afford to sag off him five steps or more and Allen will struggle to make them pay consistently. We did mention that he's a good slasher and finisher, but on his drives to the hoop, he is always looking to get all the way to the rim. Don't expect him to kick out to an open shooter or feed an open post player, he has tunnel vision with only one thing on his mind. Scouts are also worried about his basketball IQ, as he tends to commit a lot of dumb fouls and has a penchant for being careless with the ball. Overall: What you see is what you get with Tony Allen. He'll be a decent player off the bench for some team, but probably won't be a good starter if you're looking to win. Prime Ratings: B+ C C A- C+ B
