No, no I wasn't. Look what I said about Tebow in that quote. I love the talent in college football (Tebow's still a total bore of a player), and I wasn't commenting on that at all. My point was very simple. No team behaves like Miami behaved then, and if they did, they'd be all over headlines/national TV, and would be really compelling to watch. I didn't say they had a better offensive schemes than Texas Tech, and you started arguing that their offense was simple. My point had nothing to do with the quality of the games they played. I brought up Tebow's running up the sidelines and you started telling me he scored 50 touchdowns. My point: It would have been really entertaining to have watched those Miami teams' antics. If they had did 10% of the things they did in Erickson's first year, it'd be the biggest story in sports. Your point: college football is a better game today. We're talking about completely different things.
