Because they were a very good team full of thugz that danced after every play? Which part are you even responding to? I'm saying it's impossible because they would've gotten eaten alive by the NCAA. I'm also saying they'd be exciting to watch, because, well, they're a lot more exciting than any of the dull as fuck college football teams out there. Oh shit, Tim Tebow ran up the sidelines and yelled something encouraging! What scripture will he write under his eyes this week! The production and music hooked you lol. What was such more exciting about the 80's canes than anything today? Because there was not as much unsportsman like conduct calls allowing them to dance? Outside of Irvin they didn't have too many exciting players to watch compared to the faster, stronger, smarter players of today. Yes guys like Tebow, Bush, Vince Young,..... were more exciting to watch imo. If you know anything about 80's college football the playcalling was very simple-minded both offensively and defensively. The intentional fumble play is a perfect example. The QB lays the ball on the ground, the entire line moves one way and the defense just follows and the fb picks the ball up and goes the other way. I've always supported the U, I used to go to the games when I used to live in Miami, so theirs no bias.

And I have no clue how you can say college football is dull these days because of someone like Tebow. Yea 50+ TD's breaking every record possible is fucking boring to watch. Gino Torrettas Heisman years were we threw for 20tds was so fucking cool though.

I've always supported the U, I used to go to the games when I used to live in Miami, so theirs no bias. The production didn't create the footage. They were an incredibly entertaining team. Not sure how you're gonna deny that. They dominated and they were ridiculously cocky. Coming out to smoke in the Orange Bowl? Dominating the Cotton Bowl (running through the tunnel on that TD, and the pre-game fight) with 132 yards of penalties in the first half? They got into fights, they hit QBs after the play, they had insanely funny celebrations, they danced in player's faces after tackling them...it was an entirely different time in sports, and that's why I'm saying it'd be amazing to have them today. I'm not commenting on the quality of the games or how sophisticated their offense was, so I think you're just misinterpreting what I'm saying about them being entertaining. Although, tacking on 4 nat'l championships and 58 straight home wins doesn't hurt.

Gino Torrettas Heisman years were we threw for 20tds was so fucking cool though. LOL, be more of a homer. Florida was NOT an exciting to watch play this year at all. I'm not sure the quality of the Heisman is a great indicator of how fun college football is, but if you want to argue that, Mark Ingram's really working against you. And anyway, at no point was I commenting on the quality of play. I was talking about the entertainment value of that Miami team. They had a thousand LeGarrette Blount plays, and there was nothing stopping them. Anywany, Tebow had an awesome college career. He was surrounded by a lot of great players, he ran over some LBs, he threw a jump pass, won some championships, he even performed surgery on children! He's not a next-level player, which is neat!

Damnit, I want to watch this Canes video now. BTW, Ryan Garko would be a sick platoon partner with Murphy. Guy rakes lefties.

No shit not this year. Did he score 50+ td's this year or two years ago? That offense was much more exciting than any offense from the 80's canes. So college football would be "the coolest shit ever" if thugz were allowed to get into fights whenever they want to during the games? Yea I really wished that was the case. I doubt you even knew Jack about the Canes before the movie. Since this shit looks so cool, turn it to ESPN classic right nowand watch all their big games from the 80's, they will be on all night.
