Kirk Hinrich

Pro's: There isn't a coach in this league that wouldn't want Kirk Hinrich on his team. At 6'3 190, Hinrich has great size for a point guard and comes out of college with a great command for the game. He will come into the league as one of the better perimeter defending point guards in the game and also can stroke it from long-distance. Hinrich, while not the greatest passer in the world, rarely commits turnovers and plays an economical game. Will likely be a starter for his entire career.
Con's: While Hinrich certainly has some nice skills, nothing about him really screams "all-star." For a point guard, Hinrich is a mediocre passer who does not get his teammates involved enough. Hinrich also lacks a quick first step and has trouble finishing at the hoop. His lack of speed will likely give him trouble with smaller, quicker guards.
Overall: A nice lotto pick with solid upside. Probably a career-long starter.
