Strengths
Outstanding driving to the basket
Very good quickness
Very good athlete
Solid FT shooter
Very good defender
Solid passer
Good ballhandler
Weaknesses
Poor 3 pt shooter
Inconsistent jumpshot
Tendency to play out of control
Can get to the basket easily but has trouble finishing
Size could be an issue, listed at 6'0, looks more like 5'10
Needs to bulk up, lack of strength is an issue
Very raw
Outlook
TJ certainly has the athleticism to play in BBS.
Can beat anyone off the dribble pretty much.
But that also leads to him having stretches of
getting out of control and making turnovers.
Very good man defender on the perimeter.
The more mature, stronger and larger guards will have their way with him posting up though.
Is very poor from 3 point line for a PG and inconsistent with his shot overall.
With work he may be able to become a better shooter though it's not a given.
Looks like a backup PG who will be able to come off the bench and provide a spark driving to the hole and play good D. Looks like a late lotto to mid round pick.
