Name: Nene
Birthdate: September 13, 1982
Position: PF/C
Height: 6'11"
Weight: 263
Country: Brazil
Draft Ratings: B- C- D+ B- B- A
Pro's: Nene has good size, and the ability to play both Power Forward and Center. His offensive skills are a bit unpolished but he has a solid jump shot. Nene is an athletic Post, with good strength and excellent quickness in the post, which at this point helps him out on Defense more than offense. His defensive game has a lot of upside, as he is a better than average thief for a post, and while not a monster shot blocker by any means, he can swat a few a game. Not a terrible Free Throw Shooter, capable of around 70%. Decent Post passer as well. Excellent Upside as his game is mostly athleticism based at this point in his career.
Cons: Nene does not have much in the way of post moves as of this moment, rather relying on pure athleticsim, which won't work as well at the next level. He is foul prone, which again can be blamed on his reliance on his athleticism rather than skill. Also injuries are a worry, he has some worries as to the strength of his knees. Turnovers could be an issue, he is not a great ballhandler. Will take time to develop, probably not the kind of player who can come in right away and contribute as a starter.
Outlook: Nene will get picked high, as a project player for a team early in the lotto who can afford to wait a couple years for him to grow, he could be an excellent player. While it is doubtful he ever becomes a 20 point per game scorer, Nene could very well contribute a stat line of 16 points 12 rebounds 1.5 steals and 2.5 blocks at his peak.
Best case scenario:
