Centers
Tyson Chandler is a very good rebounder and solid defender. Chandler is pretty raw all around, but his offensive game needs the most work. Given some RCs in the right places, TC should be a very good starter...Eddy Curry has a ton of talent. He can score in the low post at will. He combines some nifty low post moves with amazing strength...Memo Okur is a very talented big man. He has very nice range for a big man and should be a good scorer as a rookie. If he can work on his defense and rebounding he could make some All Star teams...Samuel Dalembert is a very good shot blocker and rebounder. Just that in itself might get him into the lotto. If he has any upside at all he should be a a a solid starter...Brendan Haywood is a solid center. he can do a little bit of everything. Best case scenario he's a solid starter or a very good 4/5 backup...Steven Hunter is a solid shot blocker and positional defender. His lack of rebounding will probably keep him out of a starting spot though.
Power Forwards
Pau Gasol is the only player besides Gilbert Arenas who could go #1. He is a complete ball player with bi time upside. he can score, board and defend. great team player. Awesome #2 pick...Zach Randolph is a big time scorer and rebounder. He should come in as a rookie and score 18 points and grab 10 boards. Randolph tens to have a bad attitude and a poor work ethic though so watch out!...Troy Murphy can shoot. He loves knocking down 3's from the top of the key. Murphy can also rebound extremely well. His biggest weakness is defense. hes pretty bad...Brian Scalabrine might be this years Brian Cardinal. A solid scorer who doesn't really fit at PF or SF. More of a combo guy that can score off the bench...Eddie Griffin was a solid college player with some major personal problems. Could turn out to be a solid contributor, or could be out of the league before his rookie contract is up...
Small Forwards
Gerald Wallace is a very nice versatile SF. He doesn't have much of a jump shot, but hes a good defender and rebounder and he scores inside well...Richard Jefferson is a solid two way player. He can score some and defend some. Should be a good lotto pick...Bobby Simmons is a solid role player. he wont be a star, but in the right system he could be a very solid starter...Shane Battier is a big time defender. he can lock down his opposing number, block shots and steal. Great 5th starter...Vladimir Radmanovic is a very nice scorer but he's streaky and he isn't much of a defender. A career bench player...Rodney White is a good scorer with some interesting upside. He was very good in college, but his competition wasn't very good. Should be an interesting late 1st Round selection...
Shooting Guards
Joe Johnson is a super scoring guard that is also extremely versatile. JJ can play 1, 2 or 3 and might one day develop into a #1 option...Jason Richardson is a freak athletically. He can jump through the roof. J Rich is also a very good 3 point shooter. At this point he's pretty raw, but he should be a good pro one day...Kedrick Brown is a high flyer with an extremely raw game. He loves to get to the basket and dunk, unfortunately most other parts of his game are very unpolished...Trenton Hassell is a very good defender that should be a good bench player for some team picking late in Round 1.
Point Guards
Gilbert Arenas is a stud. Great scorer. Decent passer. Should go #1 overall. Only question is whether he'll play PG or SG...Jamaal Tinsley could be a solid BBS starter. He isn't a scorer but he can pass very well and should put up a decent assist to turnover ratio...Earl Watson is a solid backup type PG. Might be too small to be a starter but he should give good minutes off the bench...Raul Lopez is a very nice passer who doesn't like to defend. Definately a backup type...
