Ducky you are just such a homer. No way Oregon would make Alabama's D look silly. Yes, you have a very good offense but it's not THAT good. As far as how you'll do against us, I'm not really going to make any bold predictions but I think you'll be surprised. Our defense is very very good, especially against the run. If Pryor and the offense can limit the mistakes and put a few drives together I think we can win. OSU isn't a high scoring team, so if you watch them they aren't going to blow you away. They have a very good front seven and Coleman is one of the best safeties in the country. Our corners are shaky, so a team like Purdue that throws the ball 50 times a game will give us problems. We aren't a team that is good playing from behind, so if you get up 14 points or so the games over. If Tressel does his job he'll use Jemel Hines to spy on Masoli, which I think could generate some problems. He's bit of a tweener as far as he has the mentality of a LB but more the size and speed of a safety. I think he can keep Masoli in check, and we don't really need to play two true safeties because I don't think you'll beat us with the pass. Don't care about Alabama but our defense would shut you guys down. We shut down the best offense EVER in Oklahoma last year and we got even better this year. #1 in Allowed ppg, #1 in total defense, #1 in pass defense, and only allowed 3 rushing TD's all year long. Alabama is right behind us, no chance you would make "there D look silly." Alabama as a team is much better than Oregon. Congrats on being a top 10 team and having a successful year but don't go overboard. Dunlap was mvp of that game

I love how you all act like Oregon is just having a big year this season. The fact is, we have been more successful recently then Alabama. And after I saw Utah shit on Alabama last year in a bowl game when Alabama was supposed to be far superior to Utah, I don't buy that we are SEC so we are automatically better than you crap. Oregon would battle Alabama to the wire, EASILY. I think we'd win, but obviously I can't argue that since Bama is SEC and they can do no wrong.

You've been more successful than Alabama recently? DUCKY STFU they just finished off there 2nd straight undefeated regular season in the best conference in college football. Before that they were pretty bad we all know that but 4-5 SEC teams were on the level or better than Oregon. Don't get mad SEC gets all the publicity when the #1 and #2 teams are from the SEC and year after year a SEC team is in the Champ game. This wasn't even a SEC or Alabama conversation until you made the stupid comment that you'd make their D look silly.

I give Alabama some props for at least scheduling one real non conference opponent. But Florida? Come on now, at least challenge yourself outside of your conference in ONE game. I'm not saying Oregon is better than Florida, so don't freak out lol. But you have played only one team with less than 5 losses (oh nvm 2, you beat troy lol). Oregon has played 7 teams with less than 5 losses.. No shit we won't be undefeated when we challenge ourselves that much. Again I'm not saying Florida isn't the best team in the league, but boasting of undefeated records when playing a schedule like yours is laughable. Challenge yourself, otherwise your top ranking is bullshit.

I'm sure if a Utah team can beat an undefeated regular season Alabama team last year, then the ducks could do the same to Alabama this year. Afterall ducks did beat Utah this year and snap their 17 game winning streak (longest in the nation).

Ducky, you're a homer. Admit it. Obviously you love Oregon and think that they are great etc, etc. I made a statement about how our defense is very good, than you proceeded to put up stats that had absolutely nothing to do with defense. Our offense was atrocious in our two losses. Pryor looked much better towards the end of the season, and let's face it he has more pure talent than any offensive player on your team. If he can put it together is another question.
Also, you put Purdue by 2. It's not like you blew them off the field. Our defense is good. #5 in ppg allowed, #4 in ypg allowed, #5 rush ypg allowed, and #1 interceptions. The fact that you think you'll blow us off the field is crazy.

You beat Utah by 7 at your house. TCU beat them by 27 at their house, so by your estimation TCU is better than Oregon?

The SEC is hell most years. Wasn't it 2 yrs ago that 5 of the top 10 were SEC teams? That's crazy especially since we have to face each other. Even with teams like Auburn, Tenn, Georgia rebuilding and other good teams, the best 2 teams in the nation are SEC teams. It's pretty rediculuos that you've turned this into a SEC conversation and even crazier when the best 2 teams are from the SEC. Actually hold on, Easy schedule? Did you play the 2nd best team in the country this year? We are tomorrow and not at home. Also beat LSU who was #3 and on the road. Those 2 games alone are harder than your complete schedule.

Alabama would beat Oregon 9 out of 10 times.

Florida does play a crap schedule, they really need to schedule someone out of conference. The SEC has been really good the past 3-4 years, but this year was a down year. They play 2 really good teams and then a bunch of meh teams. Arkansas, Tennessee, etc are all OK, but really nothing special. That being said, Texas played an even worse schedule so it doesn't really matter.

Look tOSU has history, great recruiting, great coaching, great tradition, something Oregon doesn't have. We have to do even more work, and prove ourselves even more to get noticed.. So yes, that what Oregon's done the last 5 years with average recruiting classes and a lack of historical success is impressive.

Why are you talking about games you haven't played yet? The fact is you are undefeated with wins over only 2 teams with less than 5 losses. Troy and LSU Oregon has played 7 teams with less than 5 losses. LSU has 3 losses and is #13 now. And they beat Washington by one score, while Oregon beat Washington by 20+ points. Let's take a look at the best SEC teams outside of Florida and Alabama. LSU (2nd in SEC west) beat Washington (7th in pac 10) by 8 points UCLA (8th in pac 10) beat Tennessee (tied 2nd in SEC east) Georgia (tied 2nd in SES east) beat ASU (9th in pac 10) by 3 points lol Oregon beat UCLA by 14, and ASU by 21+. When the Pac-10's shittiest teams are battling and in some cases beating your next best teams, you know you are overrated. Sure the SEC has been strong in the past, I'm not arguing that. But you act as if Alabama is unbeatable these last two years because they are undefeated. Well guess what, that doesn't mean shit when you play teams like that AND when you get embarrassed in the BCS to a non BCS team lol. Alabama has been overrated the last couple years, and I would love for a team like Oregon to face them. Florida on the other hand is legit. I still wish they played some harder non conference games so we can actually see them challenged, but whatever.

Alabama would beat Oregon 9 out of 10 times. Not even close to the same rationality. Alabama finally faced a legitimate out of conference team, and what happened? They got punched around. Dropping one game in your conference doesn't bother me. Every year when USC was winning pac-10 championships, they always lost a pac-10 game every year that they shouldn't have. I understand, shit happens. But to lose in a BCS game against a team that was less superior (in most people's eyes at the time) is just silly. Va Tech win was nice, but when the SEC sucks, and the rest of your non conference games are against Middle New Mexico State Tech A&M International Community College III, then you haven't proven anything other than you can beat 5 loss teams, congrats.

And FSU used to be a powerhouse, they just need to get their shit together. #2 Alabama, #3 LSU not at home, sooo crappy. That alone is much harder than anything OSU or Oregon had to face this year and its a down year for us. If we faced Oregon's or OSU's schedule over the past 20 years, we would have been to 2-3 more Championships than we have now. Sounds crazy but look at our season results since about 1993. A #1 FSU team knocked us out of the Championship game numerous years, top Tennessee, Auburn, and Georgia teams didn't help either.
