Shaquille O'Neal[/u]
Position: Center
Height: 7'1''
Weight: 288lbs
Age: 19
Potential Draft-Day Ratings: B+ D D+ B B A
Potential Ratings at his peak: A+ D+ C+ A A C
Strengths[/u]
Very strong player who is near unstoppable in the paint. Will score at will and dominate opposing bigs as his size makes him a handful for everyone. He is a very efficient scorer due to the number of dunks he makes. He is a great shotblocker too and will crash the boards at both ends of the floor. For a big man he is also a very good passer of the ball, creating opportunities for team-mates as he draws double-teams. He is already a very good player and has potential to not only be great, but to be the best.
Weaknesses[/u]
Terrible free throw shooter with virtually no outside shot and a very poor midrange game. His shot needs a lot of work but GMs are likely to get more out of improving his strengths to an elite level, rather than making his very poor weakness, slightly less poor. He is also very slow and may struggle to run the floor. Also needs to watch his weight and avoid injuries.
Outlook[/u]
The Diesel is a very powerful big who dominated in college and will do the same in the pros, whenever he decides to declare. He is likely to become the best big man in his generation and will finish his career as one of the 5 best big men in history, possibly challenging for top spot. He will be a perennial All Star and grace many All League Team selections. He will never be a good shooter but that is the only flaw in his game and his talents in the paint far outweigh this issue. He is a lock for the #1 pick, in pretty much any draft class, and will be dominant in BBS.
Summary[/u]
- Very strong
- Very good inside scorer
- Good rebounder
- Good defender
- Excellent upside
- Slow
- Awful free throw shooter
- No outside shot
- Poor midrange game
