For thanksgiving Im making an nontraditional pork and beans. Baked pork. Seared, seasoned over cabbage and potatoes with chicken broth. Then some pinto beans with a little kick, some cajun seasoning. Then broccoli and some zucchini au gratin with maybe a manchego cheese. damn bro ill be hitting you up for some advice tomorrow or thursday lol

Then broccoli and some zucchini au gratin with maybe a manchego cheese. damn bro ill be hitting you up for some advice tomorrow or thursday lol Everything Im doing is super easy. Ive never done beans from scratch but looking at recipes its easy. Im gonna fry some onions and ham in a pot. Then add chicken broth and scrape up all the bits of onion and ham. then add water and more broth and add the beans. Season it with dry seasoning. Then let it cook for 2 hours. Pork is super easy. Just season it, sear it. Then put it over the cabbage and potatoes in a roasting pan. Add broth and bake for like an hour and a half. Broccoli will just be boiled with a cheese sauce. Cheese sauce is just cheese and milk. Zucchini au gratin is just mandolin-ed zucchinis with same shaved cheese. baked.

We bought my dad an oil-less Turkey fryer for Father's Day and he cooked the turkey in it. It came out great. It had crispy skin all-around. I would have liked to brine it but it is a lot of work.
We had beans sunday. Cooked them in a crockpot all-day with some onion and country ham trimmings. Delicious.

Ok, I wouldn't mind a team now. Left my noob league, so only in UOSL4. Have plenty of time for this.
