It's an internship in the Fall with W&J (my school) in Sports Management. I'll work directly with the AD and SID to market and promote athletics, coordinate pregame and halftime entertainment, in-game promotions, etc.

I did something similar to this a few semesters ago. We worked way too much and it was fucking menial bullshit so I stopped showing up and got fired. Still have the shirt though.

Greeting people as they come into a soccer game, really mindblowing stuff. Youre seats are right over there in case you can't see the enormous bleachers rising out from either sides of the field where they are going to be playin. Unreal.

If this works out, all the best for you. But this is exactly how they pitched it(marketing, promotions, etc etc). We never worked with anyone besides our direct supervisor and the most "promotion" we did was grabbing rebounds from asshole students competing against each other during halftime. Such a joke.

The Zooperstars came to halftime once and I almost cried laughing. It's not as funny when I watch it on youtube though

This is actually a really coveted position at our school. It's pretty established as a valuable and reputable internship - they don't really bullshit you in regards to what you'll be doing.
