Strengths: Olowokandi is coming into the BBS after a dominant campaign in which he led Pacific to the NCAA tournament. He has an NBA ready body. His potential for improvement is what has scouts raving as he did not begin playing basketball until the age of 17. He should be a very solid rebounder. He should also play above average defense at Center. He's a smart kid, too.
Weaknesses: Olowokandi is inevitably very raw due to the late age at which he picked up the game. He'll likely be quite overmatched offensively early in his career - his time in college provided little experience against NBA caliber talent. He doesn't seem to have the makings of a very good free throw shooter. Doesn't pass much or put the ball on the floor in general.
Outlook: Lotto pick because of his potential. And because good big men are hard to come by.
