Strengths
A very good athlete...a gym rat...built like a tank...a very good inside scorer...LOVES to get to the rim....very explosive....will draw plenty of fouls....a very good free throw shooter...has an ugly but effective shooting mechanic....a great dunker...great biceps.
Weaknesses
Very selfish...not team oriented....offensive minded...a "me" first type player....will look to score before anything else....will often pad his stats.....pretty much one dimensional....rarely will pass the ball....does not have a great outside shot....not a great defender...too foul prone...a bit undersized for his position.
Overall:
Maggette should be a lotto pick. He has the potential to become a very good scorer in this league although he shows many glaring weaknesses. A team playing in a halfcourt system may be best suited for him since he loves to get to the rim but we shall see.
