1. Utah - Kobe Bryant SG 6'6'' 200 19 B B- C+ B- C+ A
Kobe Bryant is the best player in this draft and will some day be the best player in BBS. He can do it all. He can score inside and out. He can handle. He can defend. He can board. He should be able to play pretty much any position he wants. 30-5-5 is not too much to ask.
2. San Antonio - Tracy McGrady SF 6'8'' 210 18 B- B- C C+ C A
T-Mac would be 1st in most drafts and only drops to 2 because of Kobe. McGrady is a superb talent that can do it all. he should be a great scorer, someone that could put up 28-30 a game. He should be a solid defender and rebounder as well. Perfect 1st option SF. He and Vince Carter together is kinda scary.
3. New York - Chauncey Billups PG 6'3'' 202 21 C+ B- C+ B- C A
Chauncey Billups is a big time PG prospect. A very good scorer and defender Billups is a great lead guard who doesn't have the passing ability that makes him a perfect PG spect. He may never be a 10 assist guy but he should be able to score 20 a game and defend well.
4. Detroit - Stephen Jackson SF 6'8'' 218 19 C+ B- C B- C- A
Stephen Jackson is a very solid two way player. He is a solid scorer. Can shoot and get to the rim. He also has the ability to be a very good defender. Solid player that should be a 20-5-5 guy. Great value at 4.
5. Orlando - Keith Van Horn PF 6'10'' 220 22 B B C- C C A
KVH is a very good scorer. He can post up, create off the dribble or shoot from long range. Van Horn doesn't have much desire or ability to defend though. He could be a 20+ PPG scorer but will always be a weak spot on defense.
6. Milwaukee - Antonio Daniels PG 6'4'' 195 22 C B C+ C+ C- A
Daniels is the clear cut #2 PG in this draft. Daniels is a pretty good shooter. Has a nice midrange game and a nice 3 point game. Solid ball handler. Might be more of a combo guard then a legit PG but with the state of PG's in BBS he should be a starter some day.
7. Charlotte - Anthony Parker SG 6'6'' 215 22 C B+ C B+ C- B
Parker is a perfect 5th starter on a good team. He an shoot and he can defend. Very good FT shooter and 3 point shooter. Tough defender. Very good 2 way player. Doesn't have a lot of room for growth but he should be a solid addition to any team.
8. LA Clippers - Tim Thomas SF 6'10'' 230 20 C B C C+ C A
Tim Thomas has a ton of ability but it hasn't translated onto the basketball court yet. Thomas is a very good shooter and has good athleticism and size for a SF. Thomas really needs to gain some semblance of an inside game offensively though to become a solid player.
9. New Jersey - Danny Fortson PF 6'7'' 260 21 B C D+ C A- B
Fortson is a monster down low. He can score inside very well and more then that he is a beast on the boards. He could come into the league as a rookie and be a top 10 rebounder. On the down side Fortson is a pretty bad defender and probably wont ever be better then mediocre.
10. Oklahoma City - Raja Bell SG 6'5'' 204 21 C B C B+ C B
Bell is similar to Parker in that he is a perfect role player on a good team. Bell is a very good defender and a solid shooter. Probably more of a 6th man type then a starter, but very good none the less.
11. Milwaukee (from Washington) - Brevin Knight PG 5'10'' 173 21 C+ C B B C B
Knight is a very solid PG that might even be a starter. A good ball handler and distributor, Knight is someone that could approach 10 assists a game if he starts. Not a good scorer, something around 10-12 PPG is about what you should expect. Very good selection at 11.
12. Minnesota - Adonal Foyle C 6'10'' 250 22 C D D+ A- C+ B
Foyle doesn't have any offensive game to speak of, but he can block shots and that makes him very valuable. Foyle is someone who can get 2-3 blocks a game off the bench. That alone should get him 20-30 minutes a game over his career.
13. Golden State - Mark Blount C 7'0'' 230 21 B C D+ B C B
Blount is a very solid post scorer. He also has a decent midrange shot. Blount also gets it done defensively. Solid post defender. Rebounding is a big flaw. Rare for a big to be so poor of a rebounder. Solid bench player.
14. New York (from New Orleans) - Marc Jackson C 6'10'' 270 22 B C D+ B- C+ B
Jackson is a pretty solid post player. He can score some down low. Also a decent defender and rebounder. Might be a starter, but more likely he's just a very good bench player.
15. New York (from LA Lakers) - Bobby Jackson PG 6'1'' 185 24 C B+ C B- D+ B
Jackson is a very nice 6th man combo guard type. A solid shooter who can handle a little and defend a little. Not much of a passer, but Jackson should be a very good bench player.
16. Orlando (from Houston) - Austin Croshere SF 6'9'' 235 22 C+ B+ C- C+ C B
Croshere is a very good offensive player who doesn't defend or rebound enough to start. If he's used correctly he will have a nice career as a rotation player, might be a good fit as a backup forward in an outside offense.
17. Miami (from Indiana) - Anthony Johnson PG 6'3'' 190 23 C B- C+ B D B
Very nice defensive minded backup PG. Not much of a scorer, but he can handle pass and defend. Should get 15-20 minutes a night.
18. Toronto - Kelvin Cato C 6'11'' 255 23 C+ D+ D B B- B
Cato is a very nice defensive minded big man that can defend the paint and board. Probably shouldn't be a starter, but with the lack of true centers in BBS anything can happen.
19. New York (from Memphis) - Ron Mercer SG 6'7'' 210 21 B C+ C- C D+ B
Very good scorer. Loves to get to the rim and score. Decent shooter. Nice upside. Not much of a ball handler or defender though.
20. LA Clippers (from Philadelphia) - Maurice Taylor PF 6'9'' 260 21 B+ C D+ C C B
Big time inside scorer. Just a load in the paint. Very tough to stop. Doesn't bring much else though.
