Welcome to the first BBS Tiger’s Den. As usual for those familiar with the UOSLR ones we start off finding out about people’s own teams, and then move on to more league-wide related stuff, expectations for the future, thoughts about what’s happened so far, draft thoughts… and then move on finally to the random as fuck 15th question.
Thanks go out to C.C., Nova, Outlawz, Mark, Marty and Maniac for giving answers in on time, especially Maniac, who usually had a tough time with this due to his homosexuality. Glad you pulled through it buddy!
As usual too I’ve provided my own insight into the questions as well. Anyway, hope you enjoy the read.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) How do you feel about the state of your team at the moment?
C.C.
I think my team is looking good so far. I picked up some pieces that can help us this year and obviously you can tell our team has changed a lot from last year. I really like where we are going this year and my goal to win 42 games or make the playoffs.
Nova
I think my team is in good shape. I've acquired a handful of picks and a nice young player in Spreewell. I have a young star in Larry Johnson who I'll likely move for picks and youth as well, and another solid player in Antonio Davis who will likely get me more picks. I think I've done a solid job of getting value for my players and assembling picks.
Outlawz
Well at first i was worried i was actually thinking about getting my 95 back and trying to rebuild for 2 seasons but with kemps defense going up to A+ i figured i could use that to my advantage which i did by getting barkley. Recently got horace grant too. I think we're a dangerous team but i would put myself in the top tier right now. We're a move or 2 away from being able to compete with a team like the suns.
Mark
I’m really liking my team right now. I got lucky that both Blue and Noves decided to rebuild this season because it gave me the opportunity to deal for MJ and Timmy. I don’t think anyone has a better 1/2/3 than I have right now. MJ is the best player in the league IMO and is at his peak right now. Mutumbo’s TC really helped me. I also think that it was important to acquire Brian Shaw to give me some defense off the bench at PG. I was pretty happy when Jeff was giving him up for a second round pick. The only problem is there is a good shot I lose one of my players in the off-season.
Marty
I hate my team to be very honest. My TCs have been extremely mediocre since the start of the league. I always played above and beyond my teams ratings and it’s finally starting to bite me in my ass. I was forced to deal Richmond for my picks back in 95, 96, and 97. I’m stuck with a few long contracts in big disappointments like Lionel simmons and Terry Mills two guys who on paper have really good ratings but never sim as their ratings would more than likely suggest. I mean, it is what it is. I had a few good runs here and there. I made a few deals but I could never find that true superstar to add alongside Richmond. I dealt for promising youth at the time in Simmons and Mills and they never panned out. Now I just need to start from scratch and do what I do best build through draft and free agency.
Maniac
I still love my team. I never could figure out how we got swept in the Finals last year. It was really random. However, I just think my team is still really elite. I feel fairly comfortable that, barring injury, I have the best team in the East again. I mean, we just raped Andy by 57 (hahahahaha) without Hersyee. Magic has like five triple-double's already this season. We turn the ball over a little too much but we do pretty much everything really well. Plus, I have the most unheralded starter in the league in John Salley. He has been amazing for the past two-three seasons. Love that guy. Basically, I still love my team. Definitely not bored with them at all and I think we can win a title again this year. Nobody really cares about the Suns.
Tigertecz: In all honesty I haven’t paid as much attention to my team here for the first couple of seasons as I would’ve liked. Somehow we still managed to make the Playoffs each season except last year when I managed to get the 2nd pick and draft J-Kidd. As a rebuilding team there’s more to do though, so hopefully I’ll get into the league more now and try to make some more moves. I’m not too happy with how the first few seasons went, but right now I think we’re in a good rebuilding position.
2) What does the future hold for your team? What's your plan for the next 3-5 seasons?
C.C.
I think our future looks very bright. We have some youth that we picked up in the last couple of drafts, notably Chris Webber, who we selected #3 overall in the last draft. I really like how Nick Van Exel has develop into, as well as Aaron McKie, who actually has a jump shot. Also Billy Owens, who we like to resign after this year. We still have many draft picks in the future and cap space after this season. Our future will be based on our youth, who we could pick up in Free Agency, and also who we could bring in from potential trades. The next 3-5 seasons should be interesting. I plan to continue to bring in youth/vets and try to build this team into a winner.
Nova
My plan is to tank for the next two seasons at least, maybe the next three, assemble nice young players, and hopefully as they grow hit 40 wins without having to deal off all my assets. Either way, I just want to be a dominant team again from 98-99 until the mid 2000s.
Outlawz
Well i definitely plan on winning. Dont want to rebuild for a good while. We have a solid core right now. Can we win something remains to be seen.
Mark
I think we will be elite this season and next season and then it will get dicey. If I can take one of the next two titles I’ll consider this a success. Eventually I’ll have to get my picks back and tank again.
Marty
I guess this is a continuation from the first answer. My object right now is to be competitive after the next 3 seasons. Having big contracts stuck on my team is obviously going to push my rebuilding project back a bit further then I really want to be but with plenty of teams heading into their contract year I’m sure I can dump off my contracts to someone desperate enough to win. I really want to get a top 3 pick and gain interest back in the league again though. I really hate to tank and I hate being mediocre. I wish I could build a team to the equivalent of the one I have in UOSLR. I think I’m better than the average GM but I’m not at the top tier in BBS. :Luck also plays huge a role in things and I seem to be more lucky in UOSLR than in BBS lol
Maniac
At some point, maybe after this season, I'll try to get 2 of my picks back. I feel like if I can't rebuild in two seasons then I've done a shitty job. So, that's the plan. Ideally I'd win another title this year so that I can comfortably trade off my assets and acquire a glut of nice pieces. The future will definitely hold a lot of change for this team. We're going to make another run or two at it, definitely, but then we'll see some new faces in Philly. I feel like Allen Iverson should definitely end up in Philly so I'll just consider him part of my plan for the next 3-5 seasons.
Tigertecz: We should be in a good position to get another high lotto pick this season, and have a lot of cap space set up, so hopefully I can get some good talent soon. These are the years to be rebuilding in IMO with all the talent about to enter the league in the next few draft years, so I’m hopeful about who I could draft to play alongside J-Kidd.
3) If you could swap teams with any other in the league, which would you take and why?
C.C.
Hmmm....if I had to choose, I would swap with the Suns since they have MJ-Pippen-Timmy. They are clearly the team to beat this year.
Nova
The Suns. Mark's put together a nasty team, and those boxes would be fun as hell. I would say Dan, but he just got Zo & Shaq together by luck, so meh.
Outlawz
No one. If i didnt take any part in the building of that team i wouldnt want any part of it but for arguments sake i would say the suns since they look like the heavy favorites to win the ring.
Mark
Portland. Shaq/Zo is a ridiculously valuable combination.
Marty
I don’t like swapping teams period. My team is what it is. Sure if there is one team I envied would probably be Portland since he got lucky in the draft and got Shaq and Zo which brings us into the next question.
Maniac
Such a gay question. Ugh. I like my team a whole lot - why the shit would I want to trade teams with anyone? The Suns are gay so I wouldn't take their team. Rumor has it MJ, not Magic, has HIV. I'd consider taking the Lakers but then I definitely wouldn't take the Lakers because they suck. I really like the Nuggets. Sheed looks like he's going to be a complete monster. The Glove is one of my favorite players from my childhood and is just an absolute stud. Yeah, I think I'd take the Nuggets.
Tigertecz: Phoenix and Portland getting a lot of love for obvious reasons and I’m jumping on board with the Suns. Love Deke, Pipps and MJ in real life and it doesn’t hurt that they’re all top notch defensive players for FBB purposes. Wasn’t a fan of Hardaway in real life, but he’s got skills here and is a top tier PG. Causwell rounds off the starting 5 and is a serviceable defensive big. Lots of pieces and lots of talent. I’d do everything possible to get Rodman on the team though to play with Pippen and MJ, just for the nostalgia!
4) OK, so the Blazers just won the Championship having won two lottos where he drafted Shaquille O'Neal and Alonzo Mourning. Why do you believe they won - the luck of winning the lotto two years straight, or good GM'ing by Dan? Explain.
C.C.
Combination of both. I believe they won because of luck in the two drafts, followed up by Dan bringing in more talent to make his team a winner. Basically he got two young studs, then built around them. The Blazers weren't even projected top 2 picks in those drafts, so yeah, he got lucky there. But it all starts at the draft to build a team, IMO, and Dan did a great job building from there on.
Nova
I'd say it's a little bit of both. He undoubtedly wouldn't have won without Zo or Shaq, so luck is the main factor. However, he also had to go out and acquire Jeff Hornacek, Dell Curry, & Dennis Rodman. Which ironically, he did from me. I'm 100% positive he would have not won the title without Rodman, so yeah, he made good moves too. He needed Rodman to win, but he could have made moves for other good players and still won, but he couldn't have won without Zo & Shaq. More luck then anything, but some GM'ng finesse in it too.
Outlawz
Well, of course some luck went into it but thats part of the game. He had to put himself in a position to win the lotto and he had to get enough depth around those guys to win a ring.
Mark
A little of both. Obviously there was luck involved in jumping from 4 to 1 in back-to-back seasons. But, it’d be stupid to act like Dan only won last year’s title because of that. Shaq is amazing right now but there are a ton of players better than Zo ATM. Dan would never have won last year without ripping off noves in the Rodman/Curry deal. That put him from good to elite, and also hurt noves in the process.
Marty
Is Basone a good GM? Of course he’s proven it both here and in UOSLR but to say that he hasn’t been extremely lucky more than skilled when it comes to things would be a total lie. I think there is no skill in tanking and luckily landing the top pick in the draft two seasons in the row and having argueably two of the most dominant big men in the history of basketball available with your 1st choice. His true skill will be to see if he can keep this team together and dominate. If he doesn’t win more than two championships in the next 4 or 5 seasons it would be a huge disappointment.
Maniac
Any good team is built with a fair degree of luck. Raping a GM is generally pretty lucky in this league. Winning the lottery is, of course, luck. Dan did a good job of surrounding those two with solid enough pieces last year to win a title. I mean, would my team be as good if I didn't get lucky in drafting D-Rob? Probably not. I think any team that wins a championship is a solid combination of skill and luck. The toughest challenge for Dan will be maintaining a good core around those two as they both demand max contracts.
Tigertecz: I give credit where it’s due, and despite getting stupidly lucky in drafting Shaq and Zo, arguably the best frontcourt we’ll ever see in BBS, Dan still had to bring in role players to complement them and get the tactics right in order to win. So I think it’s down to him. You make your own luck in sims IMO. If you set yourself up to be in a position to draft well or sign good FAs, that was down to your planning as a GM. Of course he got lucky, but it shouldn’t take anything away from his ring. The real test will be to see how many rings he wins though, and with Phoenix rising up out West, it’ll be tough.
5) There have been lots of big trades recently, with superstars moving all over the place. Who will be battling for the Championship this year and why? Name the two finalists and who will come out on top.
C.C.
Phoenix Suns and Philly 76ers. Those two teams will meet in the Finals and I think Suns will come out as the winner. MJ-Pip-Timmy will be too much to handle...and I think Deke will be able to contain D-Rob.
Nova
Suns and 76ers. Suns will come out on top. I don't see anyone stopping them. I think they'll hit 70 wins.
Outlawz
I think the East is wide open. There's no clear cut favorite imo. I think outta the west the suns will definitely come out and take it unless someone assembles a better team.
Mark
The Knicks, 76ers, and Magic are the best teams in the East IMO. Atlanta is slightly below them. I put Detroit behind these 4. I’ll take the 76ers in the East. They’re 10-3 having had only 2 home games. That’s crazy. I really think it could be Orlando though. Skillz will rebuild by the end of the year. In the West, I think the top teams are Phoenix, Portland, and the Thunder. I’m not going to jinx myself. I’ll say Philly over Thunder in the final. Alternate pick is Magic over Blazers.
Marty
Yeah definitely a lot of movement, Mitch Richmond was the last big name I can remember that shipped teams. I honestly can’t say there’s a clear cut winner this year. Definitely Phoenix and Portland are at the top of my list out West and I guess the Pistons and 76ers out East although I am not a huge fan of the Pistons… I think the East is going to be a ‘surprise’ with New York and then Portland out West with New York actually taking it all. I don’t know I think it’s Skillz time to get lucky this year after a disastrous start to the league.
Maniac
I still feel like we're fairly easily the best team in the East. In case I forgot to mention it, we just raped the Pistons by 57 points without Hersyee. Yeah, that happened. We shot like 63% or something crazy like that. Chris Mullin cried. So, I think we'll come out of the East if everyone is healthy for the playoffs. Likewise, I think the Suns are fairly easily the best team in the West. The Blazers are a little weaker than last year, and they certainly could beat the Suns in a series, but that trio of the Suns is pretty deadly. D-Rob will rape them, sure, but it's all good. It'll be fun for us. So, I'm predicting a Sixers v. Suns final.
Tigertecz: I’m going to go with the Sixers-Suns final too, but think that the Suns will take it, not because they have the better team, but because Maniac is gay.
6) The Bucks just went 3 seasons without a winning record and look like they're in a lot of trouble for their dreaded COntract Year. Do you think they'll sink or swim?
C.C.
I haven't seen many, if not any teams in the past NOT make the CY, so I think the Bucks will do just fine like the rest of them, if they continue to bring in talent to help them win...plus CJ is a good GM.
Nova
They'll be fine. They're not great, but the Jackson deal will help, and Jordan's got some other solid trading chips to move for better players. He'll get the 42 easily, especially with half the league attempting to tank.
Outlawz
This is a tough one. He hasnt been too active but hes a good gm. At the beggining of the year i thought he wouldnt but i think he'll do enough to squeak by.
Mark
I don’t think he makes it.
Marty
I think they’ll swim just based off the fact that a lot of teams are tanking this year but he is in trouble because he hasn’t made any moves that should make him feel comfortable about beating the contract year. He has no go to star guy and one injury to one of his starters will really kill him. His reluctance to get raped in deals may hurt his chances.. most of the superstars have all been dealt already and the more he waits the more steep of the price opposing franchises will set in return. If he ever falls below .500 I don’t think he can realistically find a deal where he wasn’t losing out big time in the value side of things.
Maniac
I have tickets six rows from the court for tomorrow night's Pitt v. WVU game. CJ, Pitt is going to extract some revenge for what happened in Hoopieville. Jamie is going to make WVU 'Suck his Dixon'. However, who cares? Let us focus on some more important things such as the following:
Tiger, this is another sick question. But God, I’m so gay. CJ has been pretty bad. He will make it though. He has enough talent to be a 7 or 8 seed and then get raped by me in the first round (literally… as it should be).
Tigertecz: Aww don’t we all love Maniac?
7) Who do you think will be the next victim of the Contract Year, regardless of whether or not the Bucks make it?
C.C.
I haven't look deep into the contract year stuff, but I'm guessing the Mavs? They need to start winning soon, but they just got Grant Hill so I think they will do just fine if they build around him with talent.
Nova
I honestly don't think any team is in such bad shape that they'll be CY'd. I think everyone's safe for the next few seasons.
Outlawz
Well based on history i might say galo since hes been through the gauntlet a couple of times already. Maybe hes learned from his mistakes thought but we'll c.
Mark
I’d have to do some research on this which I’m not going to do, so I’ll go Galo! Sorry Big G!
Marty
Not sure, I’d probably say Greg and the Dallas Mavericks he got extremely lucky in 1991 making the playoffs with a 38-44 record otherwise he would have been in his contract year last season and would have most certainly failed at that going 28-54 for the year. He benefited from finally getting the #1 pick and Grant Hill but will he be able to add talent to Hill is the question. I don’t see him getting significantly better in the next season and him failing in his CY is a huge possibility.
Maniac
Now you want me to do questions that involve some research? Hah, GTFO. I don't even know who is close so I'll just say the Suns get CY'd next. MJ is going to rupture his penis, Scottie is a terrorist, and Timmy still hasn't recovered from the raping that Muggsums (that little shithead) gave him two years ago in the Finals. So, yeah, sorry Mark. You're going to get CY'd.
Tigertecz: Dallas getting a lotta love here but I actually think we could be in trouble too. Kidd’s going to be a superstar, but he’s not going to be able to get us into the Playoffs on his own. I’ll need to bring in some serious talent by next season I think. Similar sort of position to Dallas with Hill though so we’ll see. Don’t think anyone else is in as bad a hole but we’ll see.
8) Is there anyone in the league you think should be fired? Name and shame them!
C.C.
Nah, I love everyone...but yet, some seem to hate me..but whatever. I take it as love!
Nova
Mark. For being a fucker.
Outlawz
I think the hawks guy sucks but he got lucky by having some good picks. We have a solid group of guys right now. No one stands out really.
Mark
Aar should get fired. He never posts and his team/future sucks. He was a really good GM in the old league but he has been completely non-existent in this one.
Marty
I’m willing to bet 95% of answers will have my name here which makes no sense to me since I’ve pretty much stayed out of dumb arguments. I think anyone under 400 posts at this point and time in the league should most certainly be fired. I mean, how hard is it to post 20 times a day even if it is spam. This 200 posts = 1 RC thing is so dumb and anyone who doesn’t take advantage of this ridiculously easy method of boosting your player is stupid.
Maniac
Well, Clutch already failed which is just awesome. Hahaha, he sucked so bad. What a retard. DJ hasn't been very good. Could probably fire him for funsies. While he hasn't done a bad job, I had NO clue that mops was the Wolves GM until the other day. Probably should fire Mark. He has a bad attitude. I don't know, that's all.
Tigertecz: Marty, nobody actually said you… in fact, the majority went with Mark! He’s assembled a shitty team, of course. I actually think everyone’s pretty good here, no real issues with anyone and not anyone that warrants firing… yet anyway.
9) Who has been the most disappointing player in the league right now and what makes you pick him?
C.C.
Chris Webber. I expected him to explode in the offseason and start for me, but that isn't the case. I guess I have to be patient with him.....just hopefully he doesn't pull a Deke.
Nova
This is tough. I'm gonna say Shawn Kemp. He really hasn't improved much from his first season and he hasn't lived up to his draft position.
Outlawz
Right off the top of my head i will say sam cassell... he just sucks. Definitely a bust. I liked him as a player so it sucks to see him not be as good. Sprewell also comes to mind. One of my favorite players looks like he'll just be a good role player
Mark
Shawn Kemp. He was the 4th pick IIRC and he isn’t good. Strong A:TO ratio though.
Marty
Without a doubt for me it would be Terry Mills . 506 Terry Mills PF 26 6'10'' 234 B C- C B+ A- B With those sort of ratings wouldn’t someone realistically think a 16 12 2 player would come of it? Terry Mills is a career 11.8ppg and 9.6rpg player and this season is no different averaging 11.7 and 10.1 with 0.1 BPG. He is by far the most overpaid overrated player in the league based off of ratings, production, and contract. He’s still only 26 though, and still has B scouted potential so who knows he could be a late bloomer which is not a rarity with FBB. Rasheed Wallace in UOSLR went from B+ B D A- B to B+ B+ D A- B+ in UOSLR at 31 years of age so I’m hoping for something similar, hopefully before Mills hits 31.
Maniac
I don't think it's even much of a debate - Shawn Kemp. The only good thing he's ever done is force Clutch to quit. He turns the ball over an inordinate amount, shoots shitty percentages, and I think he was like a top five pick. He's just not very good. Definitely not a star player. He has been extremely disappointing because his ratings are sick. 4 TO's a game? GTFO.
Tigertecz: All this Kemp bashing is uncalled for imo, he still produces solid as fuck numbers. I mean, he’s no Charles Barkley, but still, he’s far from bad. I gotta go with CDUBBZ though. Sure it’s early days, but damn his ratings look poor (no better than his teammate Brad Daugherty at the moment) and his numbers match. Could be a big bust there in Golden State.
10) Who will win Rookie of the Year this year, and who is going to be the best player out of this draft class down the line?
C.C.
Jason Kidd. Cavs have an awful team and Kidd will be inflating his stats all year long. Grant Hill on Dallas is another candidate, but Rauf will be hogging all his shots as the season progresses.
Nova
JKidd will win ROY I believe, and I think Grant Hill will be the best player out of the draft class down the line.
Outlawz
I think grant hill will turn into at least a top 15 player when its all said and done. Had a huge tc and putting up great numbers. I think he'll win roy and will be the best player down the line.
Mark
Boring question. I’ll say JKidd to both. I’d have taken him first.
Marty
Glenn Robinson is having a monster year on the lowly Chicago Bulls team so he hands down in my opinion is going to win the Rookie of the Year award as for the best player to come out of this draft class I still think grant Hill could be the best player. He has a better all-around game then anyone in the draft.
Maniac
Ugh. I don't know. I think Glenn Robinson will win ROY with Grant and J-Kidd giving him a run for his money. However, I think SheedFro has a pretty good chance to be the best player down the line. He looks pretty sick and is one of those versatile players that a lot of people love to have. So, I'm going to go out on a bit of a limb and say SheedFro will be the best player from this draft with Grant Hill second, J-Kidd third, and Glenn Robinson fourth.
Tigertecz: G-Rob is having an awesome start to his career but I think Kidd will take home ROY honours because of how much FBB loves assists. Down the line I think Hill will be the best in this class, and should be really, as in sim leagues he shouldn’t have career altering injuries like in real life.
11) Who are you most looking forward to seeing enter the league in the next 3-5 drafts?
C.C.
KG, Kobe, Tmac, Baron Davis, Vince Carter...you know what guys I'm talking about. Hopefully the 96-98 drafts will be very deep and I am looking forward to those.
Nova
KOBE!
Outlawz
So many guys will be coming in. So much talent its hard to name em all. KG and AI are one of my favorite players. Guys like ray allen and kobe will be fun to see develop.
Mark
No one in particular really. I love this time period in the NBA. It is what we grew up with and all kinds of fringe players hold a lot of sentimental value to all of us. I’m curious to see how Marbury looks.
Marty
I would love to get Kobe Bryant in the next upcoming drafts, Kevin Garnet, Rasheed Wallace, Allen Iverson etc. The next 3-5 drafts look truly amazing.
Maniac
Tiger, I love you. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing AI enter the league so that he can play for the Sixers. Kobe should be entering the league soon which is awesome. KG should be entering the league soon which is awesome. I don't know, there are just tons of sick players over the next 3-5 drafts. Timmy Duncan (I should pull a Spurs, get D-Rob hurt, draft Timmy). However, AI is definitely who I'm looking forward to the most. He'll be a really good Sixers player.
Tigertecz: The next few drafts are my favourite in the NBA so hopefully it’ll be the same here, especially while I’m still rebuilding. Desipte the usual Kobe/AI/KG lot etc, I’m looking for my golden trio though of Starbury, Camby and ANTOINE WALKER! Can’t wait to see how they pan out
12) BBS started with a creation draft, as always. If the leagues started again right now, who would be the top 5 picks in your opinion?
C.C.
MJ, Robinson, Dream, Barkley, Drexler.
Nova
Shaq - David Robinson - Hakeem Olajuwon - Alonzo Mourning - Grant Hill
Outlawz
In order i would go with drob, dream, mj, barkley, and payton
Mark
Started again in the same year and with the same file? Hakeem, Robinson, Jordan, Barkley, Malone.
Marty
Top 5 picks would be Jordan, D-Rob, Shaq, Mullin, and Richmond
Maniac
1. Shaq
2. David Robinson
3. Michael Jordan
4. Derrick Coleman
5. Gary Payton
Tigertecz: For me Shaq goes first as he’s going to be the best player in the league in a couple of seasons, then Robinson as he’s still in his prime, followed by MJ because I don’t think anyone can pass him up at 3, Dream for being a complete monster across the board, and then it’s Payton for me, as he’s so much younger than Chuck.
13) What do you love most about BBS?
C.C.
The league in general man. This place is a community. I've grown to know most of the GM's that been around the league for many years now. Spencer is awesome..play is cool...chris is aight....etc etc. I even got to see clutch choke. The first thing I do when I get on my PC is checking out the league. I've grown to enjoy BBS every day.
Nova
The GM's!
Outlawz
I like the fact that we have the same core of guys. It makes the competition more fun when you kinda have rivalries with some guys. But most of all i like the fact that guys care about the league so it can continue to strive as one of the better leagues out there
Mark
Killing time on the forums. There are always people to BS with. It has always been my favorite part of the league.
Marty
That it’s not easy to be good here.
Maniac
Lots of things! I especially love these questions, penis and I love just about everything else. I love most of the GM's, love Spencey of course, I've loved my team to this point, and I've even enjoyed retro more than I ever thought I would. I love Hersyee Hawkins, Magic Johnson's triple-double's, the Suns flopping this year, Mark being gay, Spencer, Allen Iverson inevitably becoming a Sixers franchise player, Play being gay, Andy being sexually gay, beating Andy by 57 points without Hersyee Hawkins, not having any firsts for like the next 33 seasons, Andrea (don't worry Spence, not like that, I like penis remember), winning titles, D-Rob, John Salley (he's so awesome), everyone hating Oregon and the things that Ducky says (even though I think most of us like Ducky these days), Clutch being a giant sandy vagina, and dragonflies.
Tigertecz: I love the fact that this league is a community. I love the random banter and the off-topic aspects to the league, and the fact that everyone’s active. Only problem for me personally is that I need to get into the sim-side of the league more. I’ve always had that problem with every version of BBS though… dunno why… just can’t get as into the league as I’d like, although love all the stuff around it. I’m the complete opposite with UOSLR though lol.
14) Would you change anything in the league right now? If so - what, and if not - why?
C.C.
I wouldn't change anything. I just want the league to keep getting better and better as years go by. Hopefully it will last forever.
Nova
Um. Not really, I think it's great as is.
Outlawz
If i can change one thing is having the ability to override an executive decision. We can be the the senate and if a certain amount of gm dont agree with the decision it can be vetoed. Maybe something like 20 gms or more. I dont know. Its something i always thought gives gm's some power over decisions.
Mark
I’m curious to see everyone’s answer to this because I can’t think of anything. This is the 3rd version of BBS and at this point it is pretty damn perfect given the constraints of FBB.
Marty
I would change me not being good that’s about it.
Maniac
Nah, it's all good. We're all just having fun and whatnot. The league is really active, about as active as it has ever been, and it's just a lot of fun right now. I think most people are really into BBS and that's when it's really great. Honestly, when a lot of people are trying and enjoying the league it doesn't need anything special - just the competition and the activity of the league is enough to keep it more than entertaining. That's how it is right now.
Tigertecz: Don’t think anything needs changing as so many people in the league love everything about it. Clamping down on all the PP threads hasn’t had a negative effect at all, as activity is still great. Sims are still regular which is always good… except for BBSW… come on Ashes step up with that shit already!
15) OK, so all the BBS GM's live in the same neighbourhood. You go out one day and take a walk into town, passing by a few places and looking inside each one. Here's what you saw: a casino, a library, a 99c store, a bank and a sex shop. Who did you see in each place and what did you see them doing there?
C.C.
A Casino: I saw Play gambling with the money he got from all the shoes he sold on ebay
A library: I saw Mark, Aaron, and Nanz hanging out together and studying while checking out BBS on computers. Idk why..
99c store: I saw clutch looking for a new job.
A Bank: I saw manas cashing his check after a day's job.
A Sex Shop: I saw Andy jacking off to porn
Nova
Casino - Pig: losing money
Library - Marty: trying to figure out why they exist and what they are
a 99c store - me: cause i'm a poor college kid
a bank - Tiger: cause he's a banker
a sex shop - Andy: cause he's a porn freak
Outlawz
LOL Funny.. hmm lets see
Casino - Dan the man Basone. Habes told me likes to lose some money so i can see him in there dropping money like its hott
A library - Definitely ducky. He talks the most about his school stuff. Seems like a bookworm to me. Not that theres anything wrong with that
99c Store - DJ hes tough to deal with. He either wants players cheap or alot for his guys. Can definitely see him in there trying to get bargains because he thinks other places are probably too expensive lol
A bank - ummm spence? cus he needs to keep savin up for that big wedding. Plus hes flying us all out there. Should be expensive lol
Sex store - Definitely andy and maniac doing all kinds of wild shit. I can see them owning the place with a big poster of them outside the store saying "welcom, cum inside".
Mark
Oh Tiger you and your imagination. I’d say Pig to all of them except 99 cent store because I have no idea what I’m supposed to base that off of. Poker in the library. If I can’t answer Pig for them, then Blue in the casino, Tiger in the 99 cent store because that option sucks, OK fine Pig in the sex shop because he fucked a girl and smelled it 6 weeks later (something like that), OBVIOUSLY JAH in the bank because he is making the big bucks, and library? IDK, noves.
Marty
At the casino I would see Pig in handcuffs and being thrown out the casino for being belligerently drunk, bringing a shemale prostitute to a poker table and hiding cards under his sleeve but before they could kick him out he blacked out drunk on the floor and the medics had to come him and take him to the hospitale to pump out his stomach, a library I would see Nova being a total nerd, a 99c store I would see Haberman because he seems like a cheap ass, a bank I would see Tiger because he’s filthy rich he takes shits and wipes his ass with whatever the equivalent of a dollar bill in England is, and a sex shop I would see Andy jerking off to “Bridget the Midget does 16 inches Part IV” all while wearing a woman’s wedding dress.
Maniac
First off, this question is perfect. There's a lot of unknown information here. Where do we all live? Do we live on the same street? Do we all have reliable transportation or do some people have to rely on public transportation? You can have a bunch of open-ends like this Tiger because it means people can use their imaginations. Really smart of you. Shame I lack one though. Anyway, Pig is no doubt at the casino. He's a compulsive gambler and just a massive degenerate all-around. I know he will consider that to be a compliment though. What would he be doing at the casino? What the fuck??? Gambling, getting some nice titties in his face, all that good stuff. The library? Hopefully it'll be you and hopefully you'll find a book to teach me how to be less gay. I have a problem. A 99 cents store? WTF? Who would be in fucking Dollar General? I don't know. Mark owns like one pair of shoes so I guess it'd probably be him. Maybe he'd buy some chocolate? I don't know. How the fuck would I know Tiger? I have no imagination! How is this relevant? A bank? Play, but he'd probably be robbing it. He's big and black. Is that stereotyping? Of course it is. And they wonder why they were never allowed to ride the bus. And, me definitely just the sex shop in there for Andy. He'd totally be going for test runs in the dildo section. Hopefully, when he's done, he'd find the biggest dildo and ram it in me for being so gay.
Tigertecz: LOL at some of these answers. Love you Maniac
