Stacey Augmon[/u]
Ratings: C+ C- C- B+ C A
Pos: Guard/Forward
Height: 6'6
Weight: 205 lbs
Age:23
Strengths: Stacey comes into the league as a seasoned college player attending 4 full seasons at UNLV. He should be a player that can make an immediate impact in the league, maybe not on the offensive end but as a rookie he will come in and already be an above average defender. He has a particular knack for racking up steals in bunches. While he might not be able to break his man down and score 50, he can score well within the offense, he is an efficient player who plays well within the offense. While he might never be a 'core' player he should be a good rotation player for any team down the road.
Weaknesses: Some are concerned that at 23 Stacey may not have much more of that sought after hidden potential. Another serious concern that scouts say is preventing him from taking that next step as a top player in this draft is his lack of a 3 point shot. I mean it just is not there and it is something scouts are unsure he will ever be able to develop. There are also questions being raised about his handling as a wing, he has a tendency to hold onto the ball too long and turn it over quite a bit.
Overall Outlook: Augmon would be a good addition to any team, he should be a good role player down the line. He will never be a particularly good scorer but if you are looking for a wing who plays rock solid D and can disrupt opposing offenses with his knack for stealing the ball, Stacey might be your guy.
-Good at causing turnovers
-Efficient offensive player
-Questionable potential
-Handles
-No 3 point shot
