Keep in mind that the Hornets can't trade their futures until the pick is satisfied, so it'd be pretty hard to build a team around a couple mid lottos, some cap space, and without the flexibility to trade futures for talent. It's still in their best interests long term to tank next season and try and get that pick situation satisfied if it isn't satisfied this year. If they want to try and rattle off 20 seasons of winning with a couple mid lottos and some cap space then I'd be totally ok with that. At some point, they'll need to tank again, and I'll take the pick at that point (when they don't have freebie years to waste  ) if we ever restart, dumb shit like this should not be allowed I think well do a 5 1st rule where you cant trade 1st beyond 5 years. Or just do what the NBA and FBB does which is must have a 1st every other ywar. |

I've been saying that forever. It is a rule so there is a competative balance. And not just superstars being passed back and forth between two teams.

smh, this is like the exact same thing we did. Insane was not in the offseason with 30 mil in cap space! Huge difference. |
