Days, weeks, and finally months pass regarding general managers in sim leagues. A variety of them quit within a week from lack of activity, many of them are fired for acting like a baboon, and of course being fired from sheer epic failure. However, every once in awhile a new general manager signs up for a league that few have heard of. This general manager, has few people to back up his name, does not have a track record of being one of the greats, and can only sell his activity as a credential. Today, the BBS sim league has encountered such an individual. That individual is myself.
Individuals not recognized for their work, are honored at this tomb
My name is Seth, I am from Brooklyn, NY, and I am a die hard sports fan. I first got into sim leagues a few years ago, and into basketball sim leagues around six months ago. However, I have not joined as some would put it the ''elite'' sim leagues yet except for PBL. What defines myself as a general manager, is my activity and dedication. When I sign up for a league, I know I am placing a responsibility on my shoulders, to not only not waste a league's time, but rather my word as well. If an individual was to sign up for every major sim leagues and receive a team, only to leave all of the leagues a week later, what reputation would that individual still be able to hold firm? The point is, my greatest asset to a league is my activity, and my ability to constantly trying to get others to be active as well.
Brooklyn which is my home, mecca, and kingdom
As one could tell by now, I love to write. I am not even a general manager, and I am writing this. Not to brag, but an individual does not find that too often now do you? This small piece is just a sample, and a thank you for giving me the chance to sign up for a wonderful league you have created thus far. I hope that you allow an unknown like myself the opportunity, to join a league. I know my word, activity, and writing is not the best set of credentials to ride on as a general manager, but I assure you if I receive a team at some point, I will make it worth my while, and more importantly yours.
