I have seen varied opinions about CC's gming abilities. Some gm's have him as a top 10 gm while others think that his only quality is the ability to tank. His Warriors were touted as a challenger for the top spot in the West
The West seems to be the most talented conference I have seen in awhile. Only 2 teams seem to be tanking. Besides the Suns and Mavs who won't make the playoffs?
I wouldn't be surprised if we join the suns and mavs lol'd. We started horrible...not really i expected, considering i upgraded our frontcourt with elmore smith and have a much improved robert parish and wil jones... and our guards are great scorers...i really don't know what the problem is... probably our positional defense or something....could be my dc... however, we went 4-3 last sim...our first winning sim since last season...it's funny when i try to win, i lose, but when i try to lose, i win... maybe i should use a ugly dc and see if we win that way... but aside from my team, i don't see houston, spurs, and memphis making the playoffs... both spurs and houston have their picks and i'm sure they wouldn't mind tanking for bird or magic...especially houston...spurs said they would like to win but i don't think they are ready yet...as for memphis, it's gonna be tough for them as well... they might win 42 though.
Warriors have been disappointing this year – slow start or just not that good?
I really hope it's just a slow start...imo, our team from top to bottom looks good on paper... my focus is on winning this season and i'm pretty disgusted at the way we've played so far... we did go 4-3 last sim and i'm hoping that could be the start of good things to come... but we are sitting 7 games below .500... my teams in the past have a history of falling early in the season... this season isn't any different... just very, very upsetting... i'm sure things will pull through together after the all star break... my teams tend to play well in the 2nd half.
There have been rumors that the league office have been investigating Wil Jones who has become markedly better at 30 years old. Any worries that he will get suspended?
No worries at all... Jones is finally showing what he's capable of.
It seems that most of the Warriors problem is that Bing hasn't played up to par yet. Is it the beginning of the end for him? Any worries that his contract becomes untradeable?
I really don't think so at all... if you saw his preseason stats, dude still has it in him.. i probably need to find the right dc for him...maybe make him a #1 option for a sim or two and see if he could be the david bing of old... no question our team started slow and so did bing... i'm pretty confident he'll come back to form soon...it's just a matter of time... as for the contract, i am not worried about that atm... i'll let that take care for itself... i'm just focus on winning right now.
Why are you Brophing Henry Bibby? You do realize that you aren't fooling anybody?
lol...didn't know about brophing until you brought it up... and no, i'm not trying to make bibby sound good or anything... i'm actually impressed at how he's played so far in the absence of bing when he got hurt last sim.. i do really believe bibby could be a solid starter in this league... to me, he looks like a player who shoots high %'s, handles the ball very well, and could score a ton in an outside offense.
Have you been happy with Elmore Smith so far?
Very happy... i'm getting what i expected to see from him.. which is blocking shots and rebound... he doesn't need to do anything else besides those two things... ugly scoring %'s but i'm not worried about that since that's not his game in the first place... so far he's doing what he's paid to do for my team...hopefully he keeps it up.
Free or Westphal?
Both are very similar players.. i think free is the better player...he has more upside to improve beyond this season...and still has 2 ac's left.
Do you see yourself as a top 10 gm?
Number of titles aside, i would say yes... i feel i've made the right moves to improve my teams in the past and present... i also contribute a lot on the boards... and don't get started with tanking... i've discussed about that in another article... but i do see myself as a top 10 gm in this league...but really, that's something i don't think too much about... i'll let the league decide for themselves.
Marty whined about the situation that you left in Cle, what do you have to say?
lol why is this still brought up now? It's the past...move on... i took over golden state, marty took over cleveland... we both made choices...it is what it is.. ill say this... marty only whined about the situation because of the reed deal...but now that's done...2-3 seasons have passed since we switched conferences...reed is on philly... marty and i are both satisfied with our new teams... let it be.

Is MRR a bust?
No... i still think he's gonna be a stud in this league... but blue needs to AC his handles badly...if he hasn't already.

Based on history, i would say biggie and andy... deals usually get posted quick.
