1. Play, welcome to the hot seat. I feel like this is one of the first interviews you've done...why have you been so quiet?
I'm usually lazy and prefer to spend my time talking shit and trolling the boards.
2. This has been one of the biggest trades in BBS history. What do you make of the dismantling of the Magic? Bingo and Willie to Milwaukee, and then Walton to Indy? Did Repole get raped?
I hate that Repole dismantled his team. I figured he would once he realized that I was a legit threat again. The Bucks trade was pretty horrible IMO. But since repole is the "best" gm in the league no one really wanted to say anything about it. I didn't really like the Indy trade as well. Michael Cooper will be garbage in BBS. Repole will finally be exposed as a shit gm..who couldn't win without Lucas, Bingo, or gimmicks.
3. Tell us why you are a better GM than Repole.
I never used any gimmicks. I know most of the flaws in FBB but I refuse to use them. I feel if I were to win a title that way it would feel tainted. I also never lucked into the most valuable player in the league during a free agency period. I admit my last 10 seasons were pretty shitty for my standards. But I was focused on continuing my playoff streak and I got too attached to my youth.
4. If you and Repole are the top two GM's, who completes your top 10?
Aar - somewhat underrated around here. He has 5 titles that he doesn't brag about.
Skillz - Can turn a shit situation into a good one
Broph - has fallen off lately but his resume speaks for itself.
DBW - DBW has lost several players but somehow he always turns it around.
Jordan - If Jordan didn't lose Jerry Lucas he would probably be challenging me for the top spot.
Habes - I hate his methods but he get results.
Nanz - great GM when he wants to be.
Outlawz - get active
5. You recently got into a spat with Skillz (me!) in a trade thread about Fred Brown and Gail Goodrich. Do you still harbor bad feelings? Tell us why Fred Brown actually deserves to be considered a top 15 piece considering his 2.6 turnovers per game.
Fred Brown is actually a top 10 piece. He's the best shooting guard in the league. I don't give a fuck what anyone says. I wouldn't trade Brown for another SG in the league. He scores at a very high rate, solid percentages, and he rebounds very well at the 2 guard position. Fred is only 29 and should have several more highly productive years in BBS.
6. What is with your relationship with Styro and HF? They seem to back you up a lot.
HF and Styro are good people.
HF - I can usually discuss music with HF, he has pretty good taste in hiphop music. So we clicked with that.
Styro is a sports fanatic like myself. I can bring up old sporting memories/stats and Styro will know what I'm talking about.
7. Who are your 5 favorite personalities in the league?
Besides Styro and HF
Greeme - I love his trolling and sarcastic remarks.
Jay - Jay is usually very emo or spontaneous
Habes - someone has to play the bad guy. Plus I love how he overrates his players.
Andy - love the gifs
Marty - love his shit talking and trolling
8. Aar now has Bingo Smith and Willie Davis, the best 2 players on a 72 win team. Will the Bulls be able to win a title in the next 3 seasons?
I don't see why we wont win at least a title in the next 3 seasons. I think aar should be able to grab a title or 2 but thats where it stops...I don't intend on handing the Central Division over to him. I love competition and challenges so this should be fun.
9. Repole has made a big deal about Kobe's failing in last-second situations. If you were to pick one NBA player to take a final shot, who would it be?
I would want Melo taking the last shot for my team.
10. Nanz offers your Rudy T and ML Carr for Derreck Dickey and Bob Kauffman. Do you do it?
I would probably pass. It's a great offer and all but I usually get attached to some of my players. And Dickey is one of them. I couldn't see myself trading Dickey for any player in the league, Bingo included.
