Repole getting overrated because of Bingo excuses. Play did nothing with Kareem. He may not be Bingo, but there are plenty who have had more talent to work with and produced nothing. Not like I tanked for Bingo either, traded a top three player in the league for that pick. Oh, and I had Glock walk on me in FA (after I'd given up Issel and three Nets picks which were later dealt for Bob Weiss) for him. I've won championships with essentially three entirely different cores now. First Omar Green with Vince King/Stokes/Petit, then Jerry Lucas with Johnny Green/LaRusso/Petit (reacquired), and now Bingo with Willie Davis and company. |

Bingo is an entirely different animal, Biggie coulda gotten Bingo and he would win 50+ a year, the man is a one man wrecking crew, look at his numbers and try to explain that away, yes, you deserve credit for making the trade, but hell, you even lucked into Jerry Lucas. You capitalize on that, but by no means are you transcendant or far and away the best GM in the league. actually, Biggie would probably win 60 tbh the man is doing 43.7 points 9.9 boards 1.8 steals 3.8 blocks on 50/87/55 shooting, I mean, thats beyond absurd |

if you give Play or I or Skillz etc Bingo, same shits gonna happen, we are all gonna tear up the league and continually win cause the man is unstoppable
actually I think he would benefit the Skillz/Habes type of GMing most since they would literally never have to worry about their firsts

I will go back and read the rest of article later but for some reason I cared enough to defend myself here This is the only league I have any desire to be in and if I do get kicked out I'll think hard about hanging it up for good... so what? I've been doing this shit for a long ass time and though I still find it fun at times I just don't get the same feeling that I did years ago. I'd hope this is the main reason for ranking the way that you did because if we're looking at the activity and the #s, there is a good chunk of GMs ahead of me that, quite frankly, do not deserve to be. There, I said it Wolves ------ 34 seasons - 2788 total games - 1579-1209 WL - .566 - 7 Finals, 2 Championships Celtics ------ 11 seasons - 902 total games - 443-459 WL - .491 - Couple ECFs but we'll say nothing of note All Together ------- 45 seasons - 3690 total games - 2022-1668 WL - .547 - 7 Finals, 2 Championships Even with my shitty Celtics stint you'd be hard pressed to find 4-5 GMs with my #s And I'm perfectly fine with not being elite. Even when I was good at this shit I never claimed to be. As long as I'm respected as a vet I'm good. But I'm looking at a few guys ahead of me and I think I need more than (paraphrasing) he's overrated and he's gonna retire if he gets CY'd, what a bitch you're not top 10 so we'll throw that out. I don't think you're better than Pig or Jordan, and throwing in activity I think I'm better than you right now. I do think I prboably ranked CC to high. if I anything i'd bump Pig ahead of me, bump me down, move CC to your spot, and bump up everyone else 1. |

How many people would have cleared their rosters entirely of scoring so that Bingo could put up 40? Seriously? He wouldn't put up 40 for anyone else, I went out of my way to get rid of volume scorers to get more shots for Bingo.
Who else valued Willie Davis? Anyone? I gave:

Willie Davis PF 78 32.6 13.4 9.3 1.0 1.4 1.6 0.8 .420 .774 .000
MAX for 3 years. Where was everyone else MAXing Willie Davis? Or George Trapp for that matter.
