Draft Ratings: C+ C- D C+ B- B
Strengths:
Capable of playing both the power forward and center positions. Has good size at the 4 spot. Very good athlete at 6'11. Quick leaper that can run the floor very well. Athletic. Will often outrun opposing bigs down the floor. Strong finisher at the rim. Solid shot blocker. Very good rebounder. Uses his 37.5-inch vertical leap to grab rebounds away from his opponents.
Weaknesses:
Doesn't have a go-to move. Lacks confidence in his back to the basket game. Bad FT shooter. Range is limited to about 15 feet on his jump shot. Has a tendency to disappear on both ends of the court. Is foul prone. Needs to add more strength and bulk, especially if he is going to play center at the next level. Ball handling needs work. Struggles to create his own shot. Not a good passer.
Outlook:
Showed the ability to score in college, but his offensive game may struggle in BBS against bigger, stronger and smarter players. Has the athletic tools to be a quality player, but doesn't possess the skills of an elite power forward prospect at this time. Looks like he should be able to contribute on the glass and defensively even without a lot of growth.
