Strengths:
Shandon Anderson is contemplating entering the BBS draft after triumphantly leading the Georgia Bulldogs to their first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in school history. As a senior, Anderson averaged 14.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Bulldogs. Anderson has a balanced scoring attack as he is able to finish on the break while having an average mid-range jumper. The Georgia native is also defensively inclined as he looks to make his mark by guarding two-guards and small forwards with some effectiveness.
Weaknesses:
Anderson will never be a reliable three-point shooter although his range may expand as his career progresses. He gets average marks from scouts for his rebounding abilities but is probably tapped out in that category as well. His playmaking abilities are also limited as a guard as he cannot create a shot for himself while in the half-court game. Many scouts believe that despite Anderson being an important part of the Bulldogs' Sweet 16 run, his ceiling does not seem very high at the next level.
Outlook:
Anderson is riding high on his success from the tourney which should garner him at least some looks from teams drafting in the first round. This versatile swingman could go in the middle to late first round of the draft.
