Fuck Stanford. Ohio State could have handled them because they play a Big Ten style smashmouth offense. Oregon runs a bunch of options etc which Ohio State refuses to game plan for. Basically we're fucked. Lets go Oregon St.

Basically we're fucked. Lets go Oregon St. Oregon State's offense is definitely something you guys have seen before. Unfortunately, their style of offense is where the ducks suck at defending. Their offense is very similar to Stanford, Arizona, and Boise State. All games we struggled or ended up losing. So your wish may come true, cuz ducks will have their hands full this Civil War. Thankfully, Autzen + our offense should be enough to get us the win. So hopefully the quackers get to play the buckeyes. Look forward to meeting tOSU in the Rose Bowl.

Well we play a similar offense to Stanford. We'll run the ball quite a bit, with very few trick plays etc. We'll try to beat you 2-3 times deep with play action. If Pryor can keep his mistakes down we're tough to beat. Our defense is very good against the run, and I think our LB's have done a much better job staying home and avoiding being beaten on option type plays. I watched UO play against Stanford and the QB option handoff plays they run scare the hell out of me. I don't think you'll do much throwing the ball, but that doesn't appear to be your MO anyway. Our front seven is very good and also very big so I think that could be a huge plus for us as long as we can eliminate the running lanes and not fall for fakes as much as we have in the past. That being said Tressel will still play his normal variety of game that will be based on field position and limiting mistakes.

Similar to offense, but I don't think you guys will be as physical as Stanford. I think our OL is right there, but the size of their TEs, FB, and RB are what really killed us. Luck had all day to throw and Gerhart was grinding our D down. Their blocking was stellar also. No offense, but I just don't see tOSU bringing that same physicality. You guys will score, but not 52 points. If I had to predict an Oregon-tOSU game, I'd say like 38-27 Oregon.

Our offensive and defensive lines are massive. We don't have Gerhart type RB, but Herron runs hard. Our TE's are both pretty big. I really don't see the game being that high scoring. Only two ways that type of game happens is if Pryor has a great day or our defense can't stop your offense. I think it will be more of a 27-17 type game. If we get caught up in a fast paced high scoring game we'll lose.
