mehh building through the draft isn't the only way to win....I guess for certain gm's it is....thats why we have so much crying in this thread. Lol Didn't you draft purnell? Even Marty suddenly became a better gm after drafting Hollis. It is not everything but getting a stud in the draft is definitely important |

extending the life of a team isnt a big deal if its not already title worthy, which yours were capable of winning titles already....pretty sure this team wasnt...

yes, you extended your teams lifespan, but, you still got your best player THROUGH THE DRAFT WHERE DID THIS WHOLE BEST PLAYER THING COME FROM?? My statement was... I never mentioned anything about someone drafting their best player through the draft or winning titles... stop being defensive so you got lucky in the draft you are not the only one at least you turned your luck into championships |

and if you get your best player through the draft...you built as much through the draft as anything...the Centerpiece is the foundation, without it, the team falls apart

Pippen was meh, Penny was meh, and Shaq was an amazing defensive player, but 57.1% from the line is still awful
