Repole, it's pretty debatable. There isn't a defender like Martin amongst PG's. King's efficiency is a bit better but i'll take Martin's defense over King. I also prefer Cousy and his elite defense over King--who is probably only a mediocre per defender if he has A- defense with those steals--when his efficiency isn't that much worse.

Just using the whole "based purely on production" line makes factoring in man to man defense sort of iffy.

And Cousy's efficiency doesn't touch King's at this point. Neither does Martin's really. I understand the defensive argument, but based purely on production King is ahead of those two pretty clearly in my opinion.
